My family had a really unfortunate experience at Jerzees last night. My dad arrived here in the late afternoon to get a table to watch the McGregor vs. Mayweather fight, eat dinner, drink, and enjoy good company. My dad arrived early to get a table, as we anticipated there being a crowd to watch the fight. There was a $10 cover charge to enter, which he anticipated paying with no issue. My husband and I, along with a friend of my Dad's arrived later that evening and met him there. We also paid $20 to enter the establishment. My husband and I had just sat down and began looking at the menu to order dinner. At that time, the manager and his bouncer approached our table informing us that he had just "sold off" that table for reservation to another party. We were unaware that these tables were being "sold off" to watch the fight, as no one informed my dad or us of this upon entry, or during the time my dad and his friend ordered and ate their food. The manager's insincere response went something like, "I don't know what to tell you other than I'm going to have to ask you to move because I already sold this table reservation off for $80. I have another table up for reservation though, that you can purchase for $60 over there". That last "offer" was insulting to say the least. My husband and I hadn't even had the chance to order yet, therefore, we expressed our dissatisfaction with the way this situation was handled and the lack of accommodations that had been offered. Since my husband and I had been there for less than 10 minutes before being told we had to move (our only choices were to either leave or stand because there were no other seats available), we requested that the $20 in cover charges we paid, be refunded so that we could leave. The manager agreed that he would refund us the cover charges. The manager walked away for a few minutes, in which time, we assumed he was trying to find accommodations for us. Instead of coming back to our table, he sent over a woman to whom apologized for the inconvenience and handed my dad and his friend their checks. That was an incredibly passive aggressive way of asking us to leave. The manager didn't even wait more than 5 minutes before he sold that last open table off to another party. At which time, we reminded the woman that the manager was planning to refund our cover charges, and we intended to wait until we received that, to exit. The manager came back over informing us we needed to move, in which we responded that we'd be happy to leave as soon as he refunded our $20. Then, I informed the manager that my husband, nor I, will be returning to Jerzees in the future. I'd like to add that the manager never even apologized to us for this negative experience, nor showed an ounce of sincerity in the way he dealt with this situation. My dad and his friend really wanted to watch the fight, so they chose to stand, however he did express how upset and dissatisfied this experience has made him, to the manager. Again, no apology or sincerity was given at this point either. I'm not sure what happened or why, but I do know that someone should've made my dad aware that the table he was occupying would be reserved for a watch party at "X" time and that he could either reserve another table, or move to the bar. No one informed him of last night's "pay to sit" policy, and I find that to be unfair, and unprofessional. My husband and I left, and my dad and his friend stood the entire night until the fight was over. I understand that mistakes happen, and I'm sure it was chaotic to keep up with the amount of people, however, an establishment that treats my family with such disrespect, and with a manager that doesn't show any amount of sincerity for the mistakes that were made and the inconveniences it caused out of pure greed for monetary compensation, is an establishment that won't ever receive any business from myself, or my husband...
Read moreI got a refund buuuuttttt......My pizza had an entire 6 inch hole missing in the middle. It looked as if someone had taken bites out of my crust before baking the cheese and toppings on my pizza. Got home ready to eat. Picked a slice of pizza out the box, and all my toppings slid off as I was picking it up. I went around each slice of pizza in the box. it literally looked as if someone took huge bites out of each slice around my pizza crust in the middle. And then melted the cheese and toppings in the middle....I took it back.... manager suggested it was because they have new dough recipe 🤔 I wasn't buying it....I understand dough tearing etc, but u build a pizza AFTER setting the dough....and it did NOT appear as if any dough was stuck in a pan somewhere it woulda been burnt cheese on the bottom....it wasn't! Lol....I was convinced that it was done intentionally because of the color of my skin(I was the only POC in the establishment)....so when the manager offered to make me a new pizza free of charge, I kindly declined, simply because I don't know if the next pizza will have the chefs saliva in it, on it or around it or not🥴🤷🏾 so instead of pizza that day I had...
Read moreI normally wouldn’t post a review but after the “service” from the bartender, she needs to be exposed. I frequent Jerzees during football season, to enjoy some food and a drink. I’m always given the best service and treated with respect while sitting at the bar. My friend was told he couldn’t sit at the bar because the seats were “saved “ for other people. I spoke to the manager who took care of that and allowed us to sit at the bar. Of course the bartender is now mad and did not pay any attention to us while sitting at the bar. She attended to her friends eating nachos and serving others while we sat with no menu or drinks. In fact she proceeded to talk about us to her friends who made it obvious by looking at us as she walked around with a attitude. The drink that I ordered from another bartender she finally made and then threw the straw at me and walked away. After 25 minutes of sitting at the bar being ignored and disrespected, we went and sat at a booth. Our new waitress greeted us and gave the service I’m used to. Thank you !! If you’re not a people person and can’t do your job the right way, please find...
