COMPLETELY UNACCETABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! My husband and I hadn't been here since it was Hog Heaven. We stopped going to the Hog Heaven that was here because the service was seriously declining and management didn't seem to be doing anything about it. We were hoping with new management and a completely new business that things would be better. So we decided to give it a shot and honestly I don't know if we'll be back. Once seated, our waitress greeted us within a few mins and took our drink orders. We needed a few mins to figure out what we wanted, so we placed an appetizer order. The kitchen brought out our appetizer and the waitress came back approx 5-10 mins later to take our order. My husband had the fish and chips, and I ordered the Italian sub with a side of fries. Our order takes an appropriate amount of time to come out, and once again is bought out by the kitchen. They didn't bring out my fries and I thought "No big deal, I'll just tell the waitress when she comes back to refill drinks/check on us." IT TOOK OVER 20 MINS for our waitress to come back to check on us once our food had come out. I started timing it. By time she finally came to check on us, we had finished eating and my drink was well past empty. I had been drinking a Coke. She comes back and asks if we needed anything. I had initally said no, because I'm so angry at this point that it had taken so long. She looks at my drink and says "Oh yes you do need something" and took my cup. I had then said that I hadn't gotten my fries. She asked what I had ordered and if I wanted them on the side. I told her I no longer wanted them and told her what I had ordered. She said "the sub doesn't come with fries." I told her I had ordered a side of fries. **Mind you, she had asked me when she placed my order if I wanted fries and confirmed that the fresh cut fries were okay. She then says "That's the second order the kitchen has messed up. I'll have that taken off your bill." She walks away with my drink cup in hand. She comes back another 10 mins later (again, I had timed this), with a drink cup in hand and she said "Sorry about that. I got into a little verbal argument with the kitchen because they are saying they aren't messing up orders,." SHE SAT DOWN A HALF GLASS FULL OF WATER, with a straw in it. Reminder, I had a Coke to drink. This picture does not look like a Coke glass that was accidentally filled with water. It looks like a cup that had only had water originally. How do I know she didn't confuse my cup with someone else's AND if you are going to refill a drink, refill it all the way! Not half full! I would have even given this a little bit of credit had she refilled a carbonated beverage that has bubbles and once those die down, it's not as full as you thing. I want to add to this, they did not appear overly busy. I would consider them steady, but by no means were they too busy that this would be considered expectable service. My mom worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years from waitressing to upper management, so I grew up in that environment and I know what goes on behind the scenes. That being said, the food itself was okay. Average food you would expect from this type of place, but the service ruined the experience. I have been a customer of Lobys since they opened on Hills and Dales and normally go once a week. Lately the service and food quality at Hills and Dales has not been that great, so we decided to go the the Cleveland Ave store which is closer to my house anyways.

I ordered two broasted chicken breasts/jojos and 5 boneless wings. The server (Cassidy) kept asking me if I wanted a combination of white meat and dark meat because thats how it is on her order device.. I kept telling her I wanted the two chicken breasts and showed her on the menu. She kept asking me in different ways what exactly I wanted.. I was really at a loss for words and didn't know how to explain it to her any differently.

Long story short, after a pretty long wait to get our food (not many people inside eating) what I got was a chicken breast, wing and 5 bone-in wings. I explained to her that I would keep and eat the wings and 1 breast was fine but I didn't want to pay for the two piece meal, she continued to say "that's why I was asking you if you wanted white or dark" trying to put the blame back on my poor ordering and insisted she couldn't do it that way and did I want to wait for the other chicken breasts. It was just easier to wait for the other breast and took it home.

Someone else came over and told me she was new but she must also be new to knowing that chicken breasts are white meat. :)

My son ordered fries and she asked if he wanted 'regular' fries. He too was confused and asked what she meant. She said regular fries were batter dipped. I jumped in and told her he wants 'regular fries', not batter dipped.

All I can say is wow.....

I hope that one of the managers or owners read this because as a very long term customer things have to be pretty bad before I...

The food was decent nothing id write home to mom about.the new selection on the menu is not really anything new but we went bc it was close and we decided to try the new place. When asked what we wanted to drink , we asked if they had an alcohol list? And was told No, however the waitress/bartender wasn't very proficient on her bartending skills & her drink knowledge wasn't the worst but winging it from an "I guess so memory" is not my idea of great customer service! Could be allergic to certain flavors or things and if I know a drink to be made a certain way and you just wing it and either don't put something in it or put something that doesn't belong in that you can really hurt someone. Not saying that she wasn't a pleasant sir because she was but they were definitely understaffed and overpopulated in the poor girl was the server the hostess and the bartender and the buser that night! So I do give her props and it was the end of the night with it 30 minutes to closing time and she was still nice enough to seat N serve us!👍 So all in all I gv her an 8/10 and the...

Aug '24- food from kitchen is looking better. Pizza now tempting, not black edged. Wings good. Need to retry burgers. Dec '23- Staff still great, kudos to Jessica. Kitchen still struggling. Housemade chips dark w/ bitter almost burnt taste. Burger overcooked, dry, its sauteed onions still crunchy, undercooked. No food item prepped to it's sweet spot. Oct '23- The service staff were on point, multiple checkins during visit. Points for the remodeling- blends inner & outer seating well. Menu shows good options. But kitchen techniques are not up to par with Loby's on Hills n Dale. Burgers were good. Cod had too thick batter- 3/8" okay on outside, but wet & gooey inside next to fish. (Arthur Treachers had thick batter like that. They closed). Fried chicken & pizzas came out of kitchen looking dark, past golden color, more like a dark walnut. Won't try them till cooking methods get revamped.

Our group personally didn't think they were ready to open. I got the breakfast pizza which was overcooked and hard and not much flavor. The kitchen was out of am item a friend ordered so she order something else, and instead they chose to cancel that new item and make the first chosen item but with different ingredients. The kitchen didn't even bother to notify our server. I definitely wouldn't come here for breakfast, unsure of how lunch/dinner service is though. Our server was amazing at least. Very helpful and made sure we were taken care of. Maybe I'll give them another shot down the road, but as for now I won't be in a rush to return.
