2 year long loyal customer lost over handful of fries. JROs used to be the best place in canton for good for cheap. My family and I all used to go every weekend/every other weekend. Now the food has been inconsistent in the amount they give. (See the attached pic of a “large” fry) I politely brought this up and asked if I could get an extra handful because the last couple times were so sparse with fries and this extremely rude blonde girl with freckles gave a bad attitude and said “a large is a large. If you got more fries before, it’s because one of the employees gave way too much” the tone and sass she gave was ridiculous. I said alright and then when I get my large fry, it’s half full and I can see the bottom of the container. Seems like she deliberately told them to give less because I brought it up. I have no idea why she took it so personal but the attitude just showed me she doesn’t deserve another penny of me or my families money. So in summary, JROS lost over 10 individuals business who always tip well over a handful of fries and a bad attitude problem. Good job blonde girl with freckles and blue eyes working the...
Read moreWhile I love the food here and have always supported this place, I have to note that the other day my partner went to pick up some food (We rarely eat food from restaurants these days because of covid, and I am currently 40 weeks pregnant) It was supposed to be a special treat, and when he got there I’m disappointed to say NOBODY behind that counter was wearing a mask or any kind of ppe. I always thought JRos was a community oriented restaurant, but this was so saddening to me and we couldn’t even eat the food he picked up because of the blatant risk presented here. Paid for it anyway and just came home. I know businesses are struggling, but if you are going to remain open please know you have a responsibility and a privilege to be safe for your employees and to keep your community safe as well. I’m surprised someone hasn’t called the health department yet, especially seeing as masks are mandated in North Carolina. That’s my two cents and I am just truly concerned and...
Read moreWe live about 15 miles away from Canton 6 months of the year. We discovered JRo's about a year and a half ago. We now eat there about 4 days a week when we r @ our NC home. The food, atmosphere, and friendly staff are all awesome. The meat is all locally grown, grass fed Angus and if you upgrade to the Ribeye burger you will not be disappointed. We especially love their handmade chips and fries. Their handmade shakes are to die for too. We have people visiting us constantly and always take them to JRo's and they always rave afterwards. They have a very diverse menu, all their food is delicious, made fresh from top grade ingredients, and is served with a smile. All the staff including Randy and Robert, the owners, and Geena @ the window will do whatever needs to be done to give you a great dining experience. We r presently @ our Florida home and can't wait to get back to JRo's. We have yet to find a BLT as good as...
