Update
My family and I gave this place another chance.
We had a late lunch on Saturday (2:30). It was a great time to go because it was quiet with only a couple of other patrons. We decided to do hibachi for my son's early birthday lunch and it was his first experience with hibachi. We got our own hibachi table and chef.
The service was great from the start. We got our drinks and appetizer out fast. The drinks, a Mai Tai and Long Island iced tea, both were great. We shared two delicious sushi rolls for $13; those were the Philadelphia roll and eel & avocado roll. I opted for the lunch menu item, shrimp hibachi; it came with fried rice, veggies, and about 6 shrimps. They also provide a ginger dressing and spicy mayo for dipping. The chef did a good job with entertaining us, especially my kids. The food and portions were pretty good for lunch. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly throughout our dining experience. Overall, this experience was night and day compared to our first time here. Yes, we definitely will go back! First time there and it was on a Saturday evening, so be prepared to wait unless you booked reservations. They said the wait was 45 minutes and we waited about 35. The place was huge, parking was ample, and the ambiance was classy.
We were sat at booth and ordered a scorpion bowl; it's a tiki drink that usually has rum, brandy, orange juice, and lemon juice (ingredients varies). I was excited because Florida establishmemts did not have this; it comes out in a big bowl and a shot that is lit up with fire in the middle. This drink was delicious. We also had the eel roll and Philadelphia roll, which were good.
Now here is why I gave them three stars and maybe I'm just being generous. I ordered chicken pad Thai and they brought out chicken lo mein lol. Maybe I shouldn't have ordered a Thai dish that was on their menu at a Japanese spot. The saving grace was, it was good and my toddler (picky eater) devoured it. This review would have been two stars but, because of my toddler, I added another star. My spouse had the general tso chicken and he said that was only OK. Service was good too, food and drinks came out fast.
Overall, when we do decide to go back, we will definitely make reservations and try the hibachi table out since that looked like fun and people seemed...
Read more🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Our visit to Mizu 21 Restaurant in Canton, CT, for a hibachi dinner was nothing short of spectacular, marking a special birthday celebration that will be cherished forever. Greeted by the serene ambiance of a water fountain at the entry, our experience started on a high note and only ascended from there. Seated in a private dining room, our large group of about 30 people, including six enthusiastic kids under five, was catered to by not one, but two skillful chefs, a dedicated waitress, and the attentive manager themselves.
The culinary journey began with a variety of appetizers that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. From the intricately prepared sushi rolls to the perfectly seasoned edamame beans and flavorful wings, every appetizer was a hit. The hibachi chefs' performance was not only entertaining for all ages but also masterful, as they prepared delicious, cooked-to-order meals with portions generous enough to satisfy everyone.
The atmosphere throughout our dining experience was exceptionally welcoming, enhanced by the meticulous cleanliness of the location and the friendliness of the staff. The teriyaki salmon and shrimp I personally enjoyed from the hibachi chef were divine, highlighting the quality and freshness of the ingredients used.
Mizu 21 Restaurant truly stands out not just for its culinary excellence but also for its ability to create a memorable and engaging dining experience for groups and families of all sizes. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an exceptional hibachi dinner in a place where every detail is thoughtfully curated to ensure guest satisfaction. We are already looking forward to our next...

Hello, let me begin this by stating that I never leave reviews. I go into every restaurant with kindness, an open mind, and a background of working in the service industry.
I had brought my group of four to Mizu's, as I had been before but two people in my party had not. Our waitress, Ally, was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable and had a positive attitude which made our meal a bit better to endure than it intially was. We ordered pork dumplings, crab rangoons, edamame, and sushi rolls to share.
The pork dumplings came with a sauce, and I was the first to dip my dumpling in. When I took it out, there was a gelatinous string attached to it. When I went to inspect it, it did not look like a worm or anything but maybe starch that solidified..? I've worked in restaurants for a very long time and am almost certain that this is what it was, but it must have been sitting for a while to develop like this. I told our waitress and she was quick to take it and remove it from the bill (thank you).
Our wasabi and ginger were stale and crusted, as if it was prepared a day or two prior and not properly refrigerated. Our edamame was cold and hard to eat, but we were so hungry we didn't care. Our food was below mid and we spent $150 in all for our party. I do not think that this restaurant will be revisited by us in the future...
The only thing worth spending...
