I was quite surprised by my experience today. This has been my go-to store for over a decade; but, today was not my day. My first tip-off should have been that I was the only customer in the store...and that the health grade was an 86. Anyway, the two employees were both sitting with people in separate booths when I walked in. The employee who served me did not wear a hat. Both employees were not surprised that the floor was leaking which is both a health hazard and a safety hazard. The employee serving me responded with “idk, this isn’t my store.” The only correct form was the fact that there was a wet floor sign out. Furthermore, the store was empty on the majority of chips, as well as bottled drinks and subway bags. I got mine in a plain, white paper bag. Also, my coupon was not honored. Though not a huge deal, because it does say ‘valid at participating stores,’ I was disappointed and put off by the fact that she didn’t work very hard to search and see if the coupon was valid at the store. Read moreI was at this location today and was beyond disgusted... they were out of meatballs when I asked how long it would be for more to be ready I was told 15-20 minutes I was thinking about if my son could wait and then one of the employees said to the manager that she could just reheat some of the meatballs that they still had from a few days before... the male staff member that was working was talking about “how Taco Mac chicken wings smell like piss” and how when he was outside someone was on the roof and almost spit on his head... no one who is ordering food wants to hear conversations like this. I was beyond annoyed since I had my son with me and I didn’t want him hearing the types of conversations they were having. I went to the Subway at the Walmart and asked how long they keep their meatballs... I was told they get thrown out every night... it makes me wonder what else should be thrown out at the subway next to Kroger. Read moreI ordered online and arrived at the restaurant 15-20 minutes later. There were a few people in line, so I let the 2 ladies know I had an online order. After they made every single other person's order they started on mine, from now a half hour ago. When they were finished I asked why the online order was pushed way to the back of the line, defeating ordering online in the first place. The manager snapped and said someone called in and there is nothing she can do about it. Not a sorry for the inconvenience, just instantly triggered and lashing out in response to a perfectly legitimate question regarding the service. I said ok, thank you and turned to leave. BUT -as I am walking to the door she mumbles about "not being in the mood today". I stopped and reminded her that I was nothing but polite to her.
