May 2019 Amore Italian Market and Bakery, SW 46st Pl., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. I got a slice of lasagna, Italian rice ball, cream puff, & chocolate eclair. The lasagna was good, but it could use more garlic. The rice ball was fried with ground beef and rice. I was not impress. Not much flavor. I will pass on this in the future. I was disappointed with the sized of the cream puff and eclair. They were very small. I am use to buying a cream puff 5 inches in diameter. The chocolate eclair being 6-7 inches long. (You can get 6 inch long eclairs at your local P*rkins Restaurants.) They tasted fine just too small. Service was fine and attentive. OBA OBA OBA....Cannoli Italian Market & Bakery, SW 16th Pl., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents of the food and chatter. Finally a REAL bakery in the Cape. A place you can find sweet goodness and fresh in house bread. Tarts, cannoli, eclairs, cream puffs, ETC. You can a good sandwich to sit down or to go. Prices reasonable service is wonderful. A PLACE YOU MUST GO TO.!!!!!!

From the moment you walk through the door at Amore Italian Market and Bakery, you are greeted with a warm and genuine smile that makes you feel like family. The coolers are filled with an irresistible selection of fresh, mouthwatering treats and prepared foods. Today we enjoyed pizza for lunch along with a half-pound of their cucumber and tomato salad. Every single bite was bursting with flavor and freshness. They even offer samples of some of their delicious baked goods and specialty items, and every one I tried was absolutely incredible. It’s nearly impossible to walk in here without wanting to take home half the store. Everything is that good. The staff works with passion, whether they’re cooking, baking, or helping customers. You can tell they truly love what they do, and it shows in every dish. There’s a little bit of love in every bite, and that’s what makes Amore such a special place. If you haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor, go hungry, and bring a big shopping bag.

I am a loyal customer that asked to get my sandwich fixed when it was made with the wrong meat. I have been to this bakery over 50 times and have not once complained, even when the food was not up to par, I just took it as an off day. But this time I figured it was not a big deal to call and ask if they could fix this issue given that it would not take much, just a few pieces of ham or a simple refund for the sandwich which was not eaten. So I called ahead of time to see what they could do and was kindly offered the replacement meat by one of the workers there so I could add it to the sandwich. When I sent my fiancé back in they refused to give him the few pieces of ham, he even pointed out that the sandwich on the board said that the ham was included. I then called to talk to the owner and was treated very badly by her, she immediately responded with attitude and then she refused to refund me for my sandwich even though she admitted that she did not care about a few pieces of ham and would have gave them to us, yet she didn’t when given the chance. I was accused of eating the whole sandwich which is not true, it’s still sitting in front of me. She also raised her voice at me and hung up on me when I told her I would not be back and would be reviewing the bakery. She even admitted to knowing we are frequent customers and I guess did not care to keep our business. At the end of the day it’s just a sandwich, but for the owner to treat loyal customers with such a lack of respect and so ungrateful that she would raise her voice and insult me by accusing me of eating the sandwich that I had only taken one bite of, that is bad business and extremely tasteless. Not only will we not be going back after spending probably thousands of dollars there, but we will also stop sending them business as we are always suggesting this bakery to our clients...

I've been to this place a few times. Few times I had food to eat and some times just ordered pastries to go. I met the ownere ones, we had a nice conversation. We also bought imported flour there before. Last experience was unpleasant to me, we ended up just paying for the food we ate and not ordering pastries to go (I take GF ones usually) bc one woman was rude to me. Upon asking a guy who was helping us what are the ingredients in some GF pastries he referred to her as he didn't know. She rolled her eyes and with the smirk just mumbled something like "it's gluten free". I was stumbled by this approach like I was asking stupid question. The guy eventually showed me the pack of that flour that being used and I just couldn't pass this rudeness. This is humiliating and unacceptable. We didn't take even the almond flour ones and weren't back there since then and we will not come back. Also the sign (that you have to find yourself as noone mentions it) says there is 3.5% charge to use a credit card but we always paid with debit and still were charged every time. Not sure if that is a disclosure issue or the store charging debit cards as it was credit. The food is good from what we had,...

Wasted my lunch break trying to get a single slice of cheesecake for my boyfriend’s birthday. Young girl at the counter didn’t think to ask me what I was grabbing (1 thing) but instead helped the man who was grabbing an entire assorted cookie tray, while he also questioned about each ingredient in the cookies and gave a sob story about his allergies. I asked if the girl could grab me ONE ITEM while she had the SAME case open but she wouldn’t so I left. I’ll just go to Publix. This stuff isn’t that special to charge $5.75 for a slice of cheesecake. I only was willing to get it because I had already made the drive. That’s literally Disney prices. No wonder small businesses are going out of business - someone wants to buy something and you can’t even grab it while the freaking case is open, when I know you’ve seen me patiently waiting here for 15 minutes? That’s Cape Coral service for you down to a T. Last time I come here and making sure my family and coworkers don’t come here anymore. I wanted one freakin thing but of course in Cape Coral if you’re under 40, good luck getting any kind of service! Boomers...
