Dads left the wives at home to take their kids out for pizza.. I followed the band in so I was thinking it would be loud. We went there at 5:30 on a Saturday night they had a pretty full house. I was amazed with how full the parking lot was and that we didn’t have to wait to be seated, but there weren’t many open tables. The server we had was great! She knew the menu well and went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we wanted. She was a hostess who became a server there. She was patient funny and put up with our dad jokes. My party consisted of 2 adult’s and 3 children the youngest 8 and the other two 10. We orders drinks (sodas & waters) and nachos for an appetizer. Everything came out really fast. For the main meal we ordered 2 pizzas, 1 large meat lovers and 1 large half cheese half sausage. My daughter wanted a Stromboli filled with sausage, pepper, onion & mushroom. The food came out in the perfect timing just as we were finishing the nachos. I personally like my pizzas with a little crispy crust. Not a thin cracker crust but not like a breadstick doughy it was closer to breadsticks. The flavor was very good, And I did have 4 pieces of pizza. If that says anything. The Stromboli was very large could feed 2-3 people and was very tasty I liked the crunch of the crust. It came with one cup of sauce we asked for more and they got it right away no questions asked but that portion you could go through 4 containers easy. I also got a brownie and ice cream to go. It was very good also. It’s a sports bar restaurant there were a ton of TV’s we sat in front of the large 4 screen one all the way to the back in the seating area. You could feel the heat coming off of them, and it was very bright right there. In the beginning of the meal it was decent loud but manageable at the end we felt like we were almost yelling at each other and 2 times the bus boy came up and spoke to us we had to ask him to repeat himself. This could be my late 40’s ears not hearing a certain tone or it was just that loud. In conclusion the food was good and I’d go back, I’d like to watch the Super Bowl or a big sporting event here I think it would be a lot of fun. If your going there with your family be prepared it’s a louder place. If you’re trying to catch up with friends or family it will be tough. I give this just over 4...
Read moreMy wife and I came to OT for a date night. We were hoping to catch Chasing Denver in the loft but it's first come, first served & not a lot of seating up there. Unfortunately we didn't get there early enough to secure a spot so we retreated downstairs because we were told that we'd still be able to hear them. No big deal! We were seated quicker than expected which was great. Sat down, ordered our drinks + an appetizer. Received our beverages which were both sweeter than expected but not horrible, so we finished them. We sat there watching as another couple who were seated after us received an appetizer. Then watched as their pizza stand was set on their table still before we received our appetizer. Meanwhile the music in the loft had started; however they kept the radio playing downstairs in the eating area so they had competing sounds (our server told us that they'd be turning the radio off once live music started). When the other couple received their pizza and we had still not gotten our appetizer, we flagged down our server and asked about the appetizer. She told us that she was going to check on it. A couple of minutes later she came back to our table with our entree's, no appetizer. That was OK, we made sure to mention that we no longer wanted the appetizer & asked to have it removed from the bill. Upon cutting into our Stromboli's & taking a bite, both my wife and I noticed that much of the inside was barely luke warm and there was cheese still visibly shredded. We called our server over and she agreed, stating "that looks ice cold." At this point, we decided to just ask for our check and leave. Our server notified the manager who promptly came to our table to discuss the situation. Ultimately, he apologized for the experience and reiterated that is not what they expect of their restaurant. He allowed us to bring our meals home at no charge so we could heat them ourselves later. Ultimately we left having paid for only our drinks & were able to bring the stromboli home. I am generously giving 3 stars due to the quick visit from the manager & the fact that he allowed us to bring the food home; although we would have loved for the drinks to be comp'd as well (we didn't mention that they were too sweet so they didn't know about it). While the manager corrected as much as he could, we're unsure if...
Read moreThis is in response to the below review by Marty Hinz (MD) : I was at this restaurant Friday night and personally witnessed the events you are describing. What you have written here is not an accurate account of what actually took place. From the moment you arrived, your behavior toward the staff was rude, dismissive, and overbearing. The young hostess did her best to explain the seating situation, yet you repeatedly raised your voice and treated her with hostility.
When the manager stepped in to try to de-escalate things, you only escalated further. On two separate occasions, I saw you become physically threatening toward the manager, leaning in and using your size to intimidate him. Despite your behavior, the manager remained calm, respectful, and professional in every interaction. At no point did anyone touch you or handle you in any way.
It was very clear to me as an onlooker that the staff was making every effort to manage an uncomfortable situation while you were intent on creating a scene. Your description of being mistreated as an “elderly handicapped customer” is simply not true. What actually happened is that the employees handled themselves with remarkable patience and restraint in the face of your repeated outbursts.
As a fellow customer who had my meal disrupted by your actions, I feel it is important to set the record straight. The staff did nothing wrong and, in fact, should be commended for how well they handled an extremely difficult situation. I have already provided my name to the restaurant so that, if necessary, they have an independent witness account of your behavior. You sir should have better self-control as a...
