Absolutely loved the Canonball & Veggie Delight! The flavors were bold, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. The Canonball had the perfect balance of spice and richness, while the Veggie Delight was vibrant, hearty, and packed with colorful, crisp vegetables. Both dishes were beautifully presented and clearly made with quality ingredients. Whether you’re a meat lover or vegetarian, these options deliver big on taste and texture. Portion sizes were generous, and everything was served hot and timely. This has quickly become my go-to for a flavorful, wholesome meal. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious and nourishing dining experience!

The website says delivery 5-9 pm Fridays and Saturdays - guy on the phone said, "We don't deliver". Toppings offered inaccurate.... but when you're on an island? You suck it up and try it! My 4 toppings were scarce, and basically all in the middle. Photos attached. So....Digiornos or this.... one you bring with, one you have to go pick up... so take your pick! They both put a lump in your gut and you're not hungry anymore!

Ordered 10 pizzas for a birthday at Tween Waters. A bit pricey, but it’s a tourist area and options are limited. Quality was pretty good and toppings were okay. If there’s limited options for Pizza on Captiva, this is a great way to go.

Adding info for others. This isn't a sit down pizza place, despite it being marked as "Dine In" on Google. There is a single table inside, but I'm not sure you can sit there because the guy working only would let us order to go.

I'm not sure the number listed on Google is correct because it disconnected after every attempt. We tried for about an hour to order a pizza but gave up and drove over thinking we could "Dine In"

The location is on the second floor, no working elevator. This can be an issue if you're a grandma, on crutches, like ours. She climbed the stairs, like a champ, to be greeted by an annoyed solitary employee.

Inside is cluttered and appears pretty dirty. It's the only pizza place on this side of the island that I found but you'd be better off with a frozen pizza from 7-Eleven.

RESPONSE TO REPLY

Thank you for your well wishes, but I do not think we will return for take out. Despite the general dirtiness and non-working phones and non-handicap accessible location -- the other problem was the hostility of the employee.

I'm not sure if this gentlemen is the owner, or just an unhappy solitary worker but his general attitude was

  1. why are you coming in here at 6:15 on a Saturday, when we close at 7pm?
  2. how dare you ask for a menu? Can't you see it is written on the chalkboard? With all the clutter in here, how can you possibly miss the chalk board on the wall behind you in this place you've never been?
  3. the fact that our phones don't work is none of your business and don't deserve a response or acknowledgment.

When you treat customers like you don't want them there, it's not a good experience. The other recent reviews seem to indicate this is a continuous, not one-off issue.

Maybe it's time to sell the place to someone who likes making pizza or dealing with customers or answering the phone. No one is obliging you to be open or be in business and I'm sure someone else would be happy to...

Imagine a movie scene where a young, mischievous teenage boy is like his peers in almost every way except one, he hates pizza. One evening, while running around with his buddies, he clumsily bumps into a haggard old woman he’s never seen before. It soon becomes clear this isn’t your average cranky ol’ bag. This woman is in fact a witch. And before this young pup knows what’s happening, the witch has pronounced a curse upon him. The curse states that despite his hatred for pizza, he is doomed to cook the best pizza anyone on the small island of Captiva had ever eaten. So long as customers kept coming, he was beholden to this endless fate. Now with decades behind him, this 30’ish year old pizza slinger does everything he can to turn customers away. He is inexplicably rude to them, refuses to answer his phone, is obnoxiously short, and makes irrational demands that would prompt any self-respecting person to walk out and cut pizza entirely from their diet before giving this business a cent. Yet somehow, much to his distain, a small group of illogical locals continue to grant him business and thus perpetuate the curse. This fanciful scenario is the only way I can imagine this dude stays in business (kidding). But seriously, I’ve never come across someone so intentional about driving away customers as this guy (Mr. Grumpy Ponytail). Shame on anybody that spits in the face of capitalism and patronizes this place, robbing it of the death it needs and deserves to die. Do Ponytail and humanity a favor and break the curse buy refusing to do...

I don't even know where to begin. I attempted to order a pizza by calling into the business but the voicemail was full. I went directly into the store to order and the owner was in clear view way back behind the counter. He was making pizzas but would not stop to acknowledge me. I said excuse me very politely about 5 times over a 5 minute time period. He finally looked at me and glared but didn't speak. I finally left and when I did I asked someone downstairs at another business what was wrong with this guy and they said he pretty weird and they wouldn't go there. I caution anyone not to go to this establishment. I reviewed him also on Yelp and he responded with a lie saying that I was yelling and being threatening. This is a complete lie! He responds to numerous negative Yelp reviews the same way he did mine with lies. Stay clear of this business.

Try behind door number 2 if your going to lie! No one grew impatient or chose to escalate the situation. As the owner you are the only employee and the customer behind me did the same thing and left. You never asked me to leave because you never even spoke to me. You just glared at me from the back area as if there was something wrong with you. Again, I would advise customers to check out all his review. He does the same thing on them. He puts straight up lies to make the customer look bad and continues to behave in this psychotic behavior...
