I can’t believe the level of incompetence I witnessed at Culver’s today. First of all, I have to call out Destiny—the so-called “customer service specialist” who made my visit a nightmare. I’ve had better service at a fast food drive-thru in the middle of a tornado.
When I walked in, Destiny was too busy chatting with her coworkers to even acknowledge I was there. After finally deciding to grace me with her attention, I placed my order for a simple ButterBurger and a Concrete Mixer. What followed can only be described as a tragic comedy of errors.
It took 25 minutes for my food to arrive. When it did, my burger looked like it had been through some kind of personal vendetta. The bun was soggy, the lettuce wilted, and I’m pretty sure the ketchup was a biohazard. The Concrete Mixer? More like a Concrete Melted—the consistency of a puddle of regret. I tried to politely ask Destiny about the situation, and her response? She stared at me blankly, as if I had just asked her to solve world peace instead of making a simple sandwich.
I even asked to speak with a manager, but Destiny insisted she was "the best they had" and that I should “just enjoy the ambiance.” The ambiance? It’s a fast food restaurant, Destiny, not a Michelin-starred bistro!
At this point, I realized it was a lost cause. I finished my sad, soggy meal while Destiny continued to pretend she was working. If you value your time, your stomach, and your sanity, avoid Culver's during Destiny's shift. Honestly, I’d rather eat fast food from a gas station.
One star. Would give...
Read moreThe Culver's on Cape Coral Parkway and Del Prado Blvd is terrible! I get off my work very late in the evenings around 8 or 8:30 PM. On my way home one Saturday evening I called ahead and ordered 3 fish sandwiches which are always excellent! When I arrived 20 minutes later to pick up my order I discovered to my great dismay that they had never processed my order. I had to wait another 40 minutes for my order to be made. I complained to the on duty manager and he didn't really seem to care that I had been put out about the delay. I asked him if my order was going to be free because of their error in processing my order earlier. He just shrugged his shoulders matter-of-factly and said no, but he would give me a couple of coupons instead but I still had to pay for my order. I totally lost it. I had worked a very long day, and I was supposed to be bringing home something for my wife and me. By now it was 9:30 and I let the manager have both barrels!! I got loud and boisterous in front of other customers, but that jerk of a manager just laughed it off. I paid finally, but most other restaurants would have certainly made up for the inconvenience they caused me. I'll never go to that Culver's again and I tell all my friends not to go there. I feel that I was not treated fairly or respectfully as a paying customer who was inconvenienced on my way home from work after a...
Read moreI haven't had a bad experience at any Culver's yet ever, and this was no exception. Great food, helpful staff, clean and comfortable, all at a fair price. I'm a burger guy, but I already had one earlier in the day, so I tried the two piece fish dinner. Oh. My. Gosh. That was honestly the best I think I've ever had as far as fast food fish. I was raised with Arthur Treacher's and Long John Silver's if anybody remembers those, but this was several steps better. Thank you covers for another awesome recipe. And I am also majorly a coleslaw guy. my wife makes coleslaw for me pretty much once a week at least a night pretty much eat like a bucket full, lol, and this Culver's coleslaw? Absolutely top-notch no complaints. If I was in a picky coleslaw kind of mood I would have squeezed just a little bit of mayo on top and stirred it up, but it was so close to Perfection I didn't even bother. I just scarfed it down and loved every bite. I will say that at this particular moment at this particular restaurant some of the staff was just slightly distracted perhaps, and maybe less attentive then AAA service, but you know what, they were nothing near rude and when I asked for help they were very helpful, and if I done anywhere else in town it would have been more common and probably worse. So I'm giving them a pass on that. Overall for this visit......
