This shop was a little hard to find - GPS put it squarely in the Westin's lobby. After poking around a bit, we discovered all the little shops on the dock-side of the hotel, and there was Gold Coast Fudge, at #110. There was a nice young man with a friendly smile behind the counter, who gave us a couple humongous dips. Mine was pumpkin, hubby's was Almond Joy. Hubby's was the hands-down favorite, with lots of coconut flavor, nice chunks of dark chocolate, and whole, roasted almonds...like a cold candy bar. I wish I could say the pumpkin was delish - full of sweet pumpkin-spice flavor that's so popular in - everything - this time of year, but it wasn't. There was just about no pumpkin flavor, and very little spice. I'm not quite sure what the flavor was, actually. Hubby was kind enough to trade me for the last few bites. I gobbled up the Almond Joy. He took one taste of the pumpkin and left the rest. Sorry, nice boy behind the counter. One great thing about our time there: we took a stroll down along the promenade while we ate our ice cream, on this gorgeous 'fall' day, and looked at...

So disappointing... after wanting to go here for sometime we went last night about 9 pm. Probably one of the worst and most expensive shakes I have ever had. Don't mind spending the money for a quality product but what we were served was basically flavored milk! The was no thickness to the drink what so ever basically 2 glasses of liquid. I could tell when they poured them into the glass how thin they were and I should have said something being that the shakes alone were $26 ! The employees were less than friendly I get we came in later in the night but you do close at 10 on the weekends so you should expect traffic to be coming until close time and be happy that you still have the business in the world we live in right now ! And the bathrooms.. Wow that's all I can say besides they need to be cleaned along with the place as a whole. Overall a very disappointing experience and certainly not what I expected...

We loved the fudge and ice cream while on vacation and we stopped twice while in town. On one of the days my daughter left her iPod in the store. We realized when we got to the airport we must have left it at my aunt’s house. A few days after we got home to Indiana I got a message from Bella advising they had her iPod at the store and we could come pick it up. I called the store right away and asked if there was any way they could ship it home to us. Bella went above and beyond what many people would do for a complete stranger. We are beyond grateful for this kind young lady getting our iPod back to us in a world where most people wouldn’t have thought twice about it. We ABSOLUTELY recommend this store not only for the great sweets but the kind individuals they hire!...

My family and I wanted to visit here for some time. We finally made it down last night and order these milkshakes. For starters, the employees seemed rather annoyed to have to make them. I think the quality of the shake reflected that attitude. It took around 15 minutes to make the 3 shakes. By the time they were ready and handed to us, they’d already begun to melt. I don’t usually complain, but I have to be honest here. We spent $44 on 3 milkshakes that tasted like $3 milkshakes. The presentation is obviously wonderful, but the service was not great and the quality was very underwhelming. I wish I was wrong. I expected to be blown away but I wasn’t.

My family and I were craving something sweet and decided to stop into this shop. What a wonderful surprise! The ice cream was perfect and the milkshake was heavenly! The staff were knowledgeable and creative! I appreciated the candy wall. It reminded me of candy shops I visited as a child. It was super affordable as well! The milkshake was super cool and fun and delicious! This place is officially on our list of places we must return when we come back to town. A hidden gem but well worth it!

During our vacation in Cape Coral, we stopped by the ‘Gulf Coast Fudge Co’ in the harbor for an ice cream shake. It was pricey, especially from a German perspective – it felt almost double the cost back home. But the shake was delicious, and the portions are huge, definitely larger than what we’re used to in Germany. I’m a 220-pound guy and I couldn’t finish it in one sitting, which is really saying something. The staff was incredibly friendly. Definitely a 5-star experience!
