Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Cape Coral

Some of the best fast food burgers i had are from this location.. However. Its clear to me now that they pre cook their Patties alot of the time and then reheat for speed and ease of employees or costs.. I dont know the numbers of running a restaurant much less a fast one.. All i know is if the food is consistently good and craveable i go back. Price accordingly. When they reheat up their Patties they are 1/5 as appetizing... And then i don't go back for awhile.. Then i remember the good ones and i try again maybe.. I know someone else said their burger was dry(reheated im 99%sure (they certainly come out faster but yuk) and he wont go back to any of them for years and years.. I think that's why Chik fil a locations are almost always busy.. Consistent reasinable quality.. No one expects 5 star compotes...lol

One note.. Some of the staff here are the nicest people ive ever encountered in drive through.. So compliments!!!!

Do yourself a favor all Sonics.. Stand out from the others and make it fresh to order every time!! Ill wait in line.. I never once seen all their stalls filled ever... at any location. I wonder why. The...

It seems some of the workers there preparing the food do not understand basic food hazard rules, or maintaining food quality. Do you guys not understand food (especially meat and dairy) is to be served at proper temperatures to prevent sickness or bacteria germination???

It seems that they find an old piece of fried chicken, with soggy breading and a deep, brown color is acceptable for their customers to eat… They need to be retrained or replaced. Paying customer’s deserve amazing quality the FIRST time. I wish I had a photo of my food but it was so bad I threw it away and drove right back to Sonic for a replacement. Yes, we received FRESH food this time around. But at the same time… we had a manager on duty come out to our car to assess the situation. After telling us she’d go figure it out and come back, so waited another 10 minutes for her. She did not come back! My boyfriend had to go inside himself and ask a completely different worker for his food. The manager seemed to have no intention of coming to assist us or maybe she just forgot about us. We spent $16 for low quality service...

Reminiscent of the old 50's drive in diners, Sonic offers curb side service from the comfort of your car ! Some servers even arrive on roller skates ! However, if you are looking for fast service, maybe look again. The menu board is located in the stall adjacent to the drivers side window. Once you are ready to order, just press the red button and someone will take your order shortly. Then , prepare to wait. Once your food finally arrives, check your order immediately ! We have almost always been without something important such as straws, napkins, ketchup, ranch dressing , etc. And , to get a server to return.....well, prepare to wait ! Now you are eating cold food! The lady in the car next to us finally went up to the door and knocked to correct her order. The food is usually prepared fresh to order and arrives hot. The value is good with nice portions for your money. Many drink options are fun and the ice cream choices are yummy !
