We went in on a Saturday at 11 am, and it was completely empty when we got there. We were ordering 4 subs so I was very happy that it was empty and were weren’t slowing any other customers down. The girl behind the counter seemed very inconvenienced by us and was very confused on what goes on the sandwiches listed in the board. There was a bit of a language barrier, which I completely understand, but it didn’t seem like she cared at all about understanding what we wanted. Two workers came out to help make the sandwich, which we were extremely grateful for, but they all were arguing back and forth about what goes on specific sandwiches. All in all, it was just very uncomfortable. They didn’t heat up the meatball subs we ordered and just seemed desperate to push us out the door. I didn’t say anything to them about the sandwiches being toasted cause I understood that they were becoming flustered and at this point we had been in the store for almost 20 minutes. When we went to pay, it took almost 5 minutes for the worker to put the correct sandwiches on the bill and we continuously had to remind her what sandwiches we ordered. As we payed, the card reader scanned the card and payment was taken, but no receipt printed. The worker said that no payment was taken. When I attempted to show the worker that the payment had gone through on my card and on the pin pad, she cut me off and said “pay again”. At this point, I was definitely frustrated and attempted to ask for a manager to help me solve the issue. The worker denied my request for a manager and told me to pay again. At this point there was a line starting to form so I just paid again, but after all the drama, I would never return to...
Read moreService has been ok for me personally, but the operator of this location is not honoring or participating in the corporate promotions such as the $6.99 foot long offer. Very disappointing as it’s a nice way for customers to get a deal in this economy, add some extras, and throw a tip to the sandwich artists. All other locations in Cape Coral are participating in this promotion, just leaving this southwest shop as an outlier. If I’m paying full price I’d recommend any of the local Jimmy John’s, Firehouse Subs, or Jersey Mike’s for better proteins and service over Subway anyway. Ask yourself if the below pictures are acceptable value for a “Ultimate B.M.T.” For $9.99… where’s the actual meat? It’s unclear if this is the operator reducing the chain standards to save money, or staff being inconsistent with ingredients. Just walk next door to Publix and get 4x the sub with real...
Read moreI like this location because of a specific employee named Tanner, that is the only Subway worker I've ever seen take his time making our sandwiches every week . I'm not a fan people racing to make my food , especially when there is nobody else waiting . I feel like he cares more and respects the food he handles more than the average person working at a subway ... In general, subway gives you less weight on a sandwich than most places for the money . So the fact I can get an employee to not race through like a sloppy madman or women . I felt the need to show my gratitude by finally asking his name , just so I could write a review . I do like all the other employees here , but I do my best to wait for...
