The Midtown Lounge — Restaurant in Cape Coral

This place has gone stedily downhill. When we 1st discovered it, it was a friendly atmosphere and the gals were very attentive servers, food was well worth the price. The last 3-4 times we've went have been horrible with last night being the last chance we give this place. Servers bicker in front of u who has what tables, pay special attention to groups/tables of young who seem to have infatuations with them yet arent ordering much. Our server literally blurted out "excuse me" to get through while my partner was in middle of backstroke for his break when she xould have gone around any of several alternate routes. That might be petty sounding but seriously, servers in a pool haul should have some sense of pool "etiquette". Had to go to the bar several times to get our own drinks and after 2, the beers were almost room temp. Shots are watered down. They try to pass cheap liquer off as top shelf then want to argue about it. All this and there isnt really a crowd so they cant claim they were busy. Its just gone to crap. Lisa (Lisanna Z) was extremely rude, and provided some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She talked over me and berated me on the phone call we had, and gave me attitude about having to explain the different flavors of their wings. She had told me the menu they had online was outdated, so I asked her to explain what flavors they had for the wings. She immediately treated me as if I was stupid and stated she" Had never had to explain the wing flavors to another customer". I tried to explain that I was asking because the menu was outdated, she then proceeded to talk over me and threatened that they would not take my order if I didn't just "listen to her". Being that I have to give a star to write a review😔 😂 Experience was horrible as the establishment is definitely going to garbage but guess that speaks allot. I've known THIS place for OVER 9 yrs. Used to like to go HERE just to getaway and enjoy few drinks. My horrible experience is with the pay out as I paid with my card but left a cash tip, they took it upon themselves to add another tip onto it and I disputed it with my card and called the establishment, which they NEVER answered. I NEVER knew you could tip yourself whatever you want and get AWAY with it. I'm such a honest person that I would never return to this establishment as they took my trust and money.
