My experience at tropical smoothie was an little to above average experience (3.5 stars) for a cafe place in Cape Coral Florida. When you walk in you are treated with a wave of I would like to Call a âtropical breezeâ but an unsettling noise of blenders going on and off every minute or two. The atmosphere was nice. It felt like I was on a beach where there was a slight wave. And fans going off to keep the place cool and seem very calm. The place was very clean but with little to no people inside enjoying there meal.Instead they are in the very narrow driveway waiting for there food. When I looked at the menu a lot of meals spoke to me. If your trying to eat healthy this is a place to be. I got my regular order of âchicken pestoâ with a âMocha Madnessâ and the side of there new corn. Starting off with the chicken pesto the ingredients complete eachother with each bite getting better then the last.Although the inside was great it was the bread that tears it apart. The bread was dry,and a little too much chewy then I would have liked it to be. The tomatoâs were very good you could tell that they wanted there ingredients to be fresh but didnât succeed to be that way. The chicken was very moist but had little to no seasoning on it which made there downfall. The pesto was very pleasant. Was the star of the show. On the other hand the cheese was below average. It reminds me of if you go in the bottom of a bag of cheese you left in your refrigerator a month ago and now just finding it now. Just like the bread it tears up the sandwich putting it towards an average experience.The smoothie was delightful again I had the mocha madness. This smoothie was on the sweet side but I didnât mind that. With the mocha and the chocolate going hand and hand to make this drink good I didnât regret my choice of choosing it to go about my day.Now for my side i again had the JALAPEĂO corn. It was very good. The seasoning was astonishing, the way how it was sweet and spicy the corn wasnât dry at all because of the butter it went on it. On 10/25/19 my smoothie was Horrrible & Jessie was Not paying Attention again. After I left there I called & called & Noone picks up! Next day I spoke to Mgr "Pat" Mind you I had so many complaints but never complained. Anyway he told me to come back whenever to get a free one. I went w my family on 10/25/19 to get several things & get my colada I was promised. Noone responded in drive thru so I drove up to window. We are sitting there as Elizabeth walked by several times Ignoring me, I honked my horn several times and banged on window. Elizabeth opened window w Such Rudeness & I asked wth is her problem & why she ignoring us. She started to get cocky then Jessie came behind her & took over Omg she was Horrible also she getting an ATTITUDE w us for no reason when I'm asking her why we were being ignored?? She again gets attitude & slammed window in my face shut. We were in DISBELIEF. JESSIE opens window again & I asked why she slammed window in our face, her remark was I'm taking care of a customer?? What?? I'm a good customer who are we?? Not customers ?? She AGAIN starting getting very offensive. We are at this point in SHOCK!! She slams window AGAIN & my brother said go inside ...which I drove off & went inside. Then it got worse. I walked out WOUT any food OR MY drink. We have never had such a Horrible experience W Elizabeth & Jessie making us Never to come here again Everrr! We will be filing more complaints.    Read moreI ordered lunch and a smoothie from this location via Uber eats today and the courier called me to inform me that someone else had picked up my order (I'm assuming by mistake). The courier explained to me that she told the staff members who worked there that my order wasn't available for her to pick up and one of the workers told her someone else picked it up and called me, which was not the case. I had not received a call about an order and my Uber driver was the only one assigned to pick it up. She asked the worker if she would please make the order again so that she could deliver it, to which the worker was unwilling and completely rude to her. So she called me to explain what happened and asked me if I wanted to speak to the worker directly or if I just wanted to cancel the order. Naturally, I just canceled the order. Good quality service is so rare these days. I give the Uber driver five stars for her efforts to try to get me my lunch promptly, but I give the workers at Tropical Smoothie a ZERO. While it has no bearing on the workers directly, the company as a whole will continue to lose business as a result of poor attitudes and the poor service provided by their team members.
