Let me tell you....
My husband and I went out on a date here a few weeks ago. It was kinda later in the evening.... It was pretty full and getting fuller by the minute once we got there. There was only two servers. And a lot of tables.
Our server was a young gentleman named Josh. And I say gentlemen bc.. he was very polite, very helpful, he continued to check on us. Make time for any questions, didn't rush us even though he had gotten double sat, and even helped show us and explain to us the beer wall and how it worked. He absolutely deserves A LOT of recognition bc our encounter with him and this place, set the entire mood for our night. He kept us up to date on how our food was. Stopped to make sure it tasted good once it got there etc. he is a great server and it is half bc of him.. that we will be back. Our bill was $67 and we tipped him $20.
We got beer from the beer wall, which let me tell you... Was fresh, airy, melt in your mouth ice cold beer. It was delightful. We ordered the 12" deep dish pizza with pepperoni, sausage, black olives and hot gardenia. 🤤🤤🤤🤤 Oh lordy it was and still is to date.... The absolute best mouth watering pizza I have ever tasted in the entirety of my 33 years on earth! We got the cheesey garlic bread as an app, which yet again... Hardcore yes!!! It was fresh garlic... So it was so good , so garlic, soft pillowy bread on the inside, gooey cheese on the outside, and a thin flaky crunch on the outside. They very much know what they're doing here y'all.
It is kinda pricey, but it is worth it.
I also got a meat ball sub, which wasn't very great bc it was cold when it came out... I'm pretty sure the kitchen made it first while waiting for the pizza but I just took it home and reheated it later. And it was pretty good. I got my side as a Cesar salad and the croutons are made in house and although the dressing comes in a container , it's their " brand" and it was so darn good dressing. I'm not a sales person but , I do eat a Cesar now and again and this was top notch !!! Big flakes of Parm, fresh... FRESH vibrant lettuce. Oh yeah delicious!
Now for dessert.... I got . CANNOLIS , and I fell in love with them as soon as I took my first bite. Super flaky, perfect textured shells, with a very aromatic tasty after taste. Read moreI wouldn't even give this place one star however to write a comment you have to. Everyone's food took forever and was cold. The cheese hadn't even melted on the pizza it was so cold. It seemed that the manager couldn't even help the girl who was waiting our table. She started out with a terrible attitude seemed as if she didn't want to be there in the first place and boy did it show! Some people ordered water they got tea. Some people got nothing! When my grandson and I tried asking her a question she got very snotty or would just ignore us with an attitude. I proceeded to explain how patient we had all been and not to be treated in this manner. The manager ended up not charging us for anything and no one ate we left everything setting. As we were leaving and walking out the door I stopped to speak to the manager. Speaking with him told me right away why his staff would act in such a disrespectful manner. It's called lead by example. The manager told me to leave even though I was trying to explain we were not trying to be rude. He proceeded to tell me in a threatening manner to get out. We have Rosati's here in Chicago and I've never had any issues. I will be more than happy to call corporate to let them know what kind of franchise the Establishment in Cape Girardeau Missouri has. Read moreTerrible experience, ordered online pickup. Store charged me, called the store and they said they didn’t receive the order. I had the correct location. But even though they took my money and charged my debit card, they refused to make the pizza or fix the mistake. Instead they are relying on it “automatically” getting refunded (which didn’t happen). Which makes no sense. I had to file a dispute with my card company and everything. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with any pizza place. I worked for Papa Johns for a short time as a delivery driver and we even gave free pizzas away just to fix stuff like this. Absolute a better way of handling such things. Ridiculous.
(Update Jan 12, 2021): The pending charge from Rosatis went through and completed, and was not refunded by the store like the manager said it would be. Lost 20$ and still never received my food or refund. Waiting on my bank now.
(Update Jan 15, 2021): Owner answered, he said the website is out of his hands. If they never received the order at the store they can’t issue a refund. He said I probably went on the wrong site cause they’ve had it high jacked a bunch, problem is you gotta be lying the site he gave me was the one I was on using the “ArrowPos” site extension when you click the pickup button. And the charge name on my debit card transaction list SAYS YOUR STORES PHONE NUMBER AND “Rosatis pizza Cape Girardeau” so somebody got my money. Absolutely never touching this...
