Placed an internet order for breakfast at 1020AM. Immediately drove to restaurant. Arrived at drive thru at 1031AM. Was told to pull around front. A person came outside to tell me that my order couldn't be filled because it was past 1030AM and the cook had already started putting away the breakfast food. She said that "we don't get your order until you show up at the drive thru to pick it up".. so.. even though I've ordered and paid, the local restaurant doesn't start making the order until I arrive? What kind of nonsense is that? I want the restaurant to get my order when I submit it, not later. I don't want to show up and have to wait for my food to be made, I want it in a bag, ready to go when I show up. So maybe I'm mad at the Burger King app for that part.
The app said that my order was being made at 1020AM and said nothing about having to arrive at or before 1030AM or it would be cancelled. I am obviously not the first person to have been boned by the breakfast cutoff time--you'd like Burger King management (at this particular restaurant) would have figured out a better solution, like maybe have a short grace period past 1030AM before putting away the breakfast food, but clearly they'd rather tell the customer to take a hike. I asked the cashier Melissa if she could get her manager, she turned around and yelled Jaleela these people need to talk to you. As she was staring at a cell phone she said "yeah".. I asked her first if the WIFI was working she said she didn't know, I then asked why everyone here is so rude, she turned around and walked away AS I WAS TALKING TO HER!! (still looking at her cell phone) So I wanted to make a complaint, I wanted to verify the managers name. So I asked, then asked again, she took a minute and said Kelly. I pointed to the lady that was just rude as hell to me and couldn't stop looking at her phone and said, "her name is Kelly"? She said YES! I asked another employee and she said Kelly isn't there until tomorrow and told me the managers name right now is Jaleea. I walked up to Melissa who was laughing with other employees about something and said your managers name is Jaleela, NOT Kelly. SHE LAUGHED AND WALKED AWAY!!!! Calling corporate tomorrow. Read moreI am delivery driver for Uber Eats and today, in the rain, I was standing at the window waiting for 2 items, which were hamburgers, plus a drink, which shouldn't take more than a few minutes. I saw after I showed up, 5 cars enter the drive through, place their order, and some waited for their food and got it and others just got it at the window. I called the Burger King on the other side of town to see what the rules were. The employee told me they take the orders as they see best. In other words, the employees at the first Burger King made me stand there next to pouring rain for 20 minutes or more. Perhaps because they don't want the drive through backed up? I am expected to deliver on a expected time and those times affect my rating, which is caused by the lack of performance from the employees here. This is not a situation where I am the first to arrive getting many items compared to somebody after me getting 1 or 2. In this case, I don't mind the second person being served first, why make us both wait the same time only one has to? Well, I am addressing this here and open to the public so that if not corrected, will be reviewed again...
