Went to the wrong store and ended up walking 45 minutes to get my sandwich I ordered on the app. The cashier was unprofessional and acted as it was a inconvenience to at least warm my sandwich up because I just got off work. She got upset and stated she made the sandwich so long ago it didn't matter to which I asked to have it remade since it was there so long, said she had to call the manager, and I agreed to have her explain the situation. After calling manager Heather I explained it was my mistake and all I wanted was some hot food and after confirming I didn't eat the food already she asked the cashier to remake my sandwich. Which I said thank you and turned around and the cashier started saying this isn't the policy and that she'll make the sandwich but something. I didn't feel comfortable eating any food she would have prepared after. Would like a refund if possible
Edit since the manager authorized the remake sandwich I didn't feel comfortable eating, I'm not eligible for a refund. This store is among the worst food joints...
Read moreWent to this store this morning and was denied service. I am on a bicycle traveling across the United States. I went to drive up since store was closed (despite 24 hour open signage). I stood at area for over 5 minutes in the rain and nothing. I finally rode up to window and store Manager told me that during the Covid epidemic they do not serve walk up and a bicyclist is same a person walking up. She claimed there was a sign on menu board but there was not. Only a sign at pick up window. For the last two weeks on my bike, I have not had any issue with drive thru windows including multiple Subways. Clearly, the owner of this Subway is using the Covid crisis to discriminate against folks who cannot afford a car. Sadly, in a place like Carbondale, that segment is likely disproportionately people of color. If I lived in Carbondale, I would skip this Subway as these are individually owned. Read moreMy wife and I were both exhausted after a long day. Didn't even want to stand up to order at Subway. So we downloaded the app and ordered online expecting to be able to pick up at the drive thru. The order was confirmed and I paid by c card.
We had to wait while they made it because they were out of the bread we had both ordered. And when they came to the window, they were out of both cookies we ordered. One was chocolate chip...who runs out of chocolate chip cookies? And at 6:00, it wasn't even late.
I didn't like the cookie selection and asked if they could take them off the bill. No, online orders can't be changed. Grr! And when we got home and looked at our sandwiches, they were skimpy on the fixings. This has never happened when in person.
