Domenick's — Restaurant in Carbondale

Disappointed to say the least.. they regularly just do not answer the phone. I would never have left a negative review for just that reason but I feel like its unprofessional, esp since a family member drove by on multiple occasions when they didnt answer and the establishment was very much open. Individuals answering the phone make me feel like a burden bc before I even get "i would like delivery" out of my mouth, they cut me off telling me of an excessive wait time (usually 1.5+ hours, for a pizza, to Simpson, lol) anyways, today was it for me, I will never support the business again. i was told originally that i could not get chicken in my stromboli/calzone bc its not a topping.. but they offer hot wing pizza and calzone? So they have chicken? I was put on hold to see "if the chef would accomodate, and then was told it would be double for chicken in a calzone (we have been ordering this for years and never have hear this before). I just didnt like the whole interaction so cancelled the order and ended up ordering elsewhere. It is sad how much customer service at this restaurant has deteriorated...

Topic of the moment is Pizza, almost everyone in the world loves Pizza. A Picture is but a millisecond captured in time, depending on the lighting, the angle is only as good as the quality of camera, criticism can be constructive or destructive or cancel each other out. I can play a guitar with ten fingers, I certainly play all kinds of wrong notes but at least there in tune and chime Domenick's Old Forge Sicilian half with pepperoni !

Called and placed an order tonight at 6:25pm and took 2 1/2 hours to get our complete order. First time it took an hour for a hoagie, wings and french fries (which they forgot) so I called them right away and said we didn't receive our fries, the lady on the phone asked if I would like them to be delivered!! Hello, yes! I paid for them. An hour longer goes by and no french fries. I called AGAIN and the lady said the driver must have given our order to someone else on our street. 30 minutes later the fries arrive. . They arrive soggy and cold. Then when my husband ate his wings he realized they gave him the wrong kind! This place is an absolute joke! Never again will we order from here again. If I could give zero stars I would .Waste of money, waste of time! Food is going in the garbage and I will be calling to speak to...
