I love Larry’s Bakery! It always smells excellent so much so you never know what you want! My favorite are the oatmeal cookies and their cupcakes. I also love their customer service, which is essential when you spend hard-earned money. Before Larry’s was in Carbondale, I went to Walmart or Kroger. Now it is only Larry’s! My family also enjoys a treat without occasion, such as their cake pops and chocolate-dipped pretzels! I will upload more picks as I go Back in. Take a look at some of the indulgences I have enjoyed! 🤗

I went in today to pickup a birthday cake (so last minute by the way) for my daughter 6th birthday. I was expecting a simple Happy Birthday written on it. But the lady went all out on decorating and asked if I wanted flowers on it and I said sure because my daughter’s name is Lily and she loves flowers. She did an amazing job! The customer service was wonderful and it tasted good as well!!

We ordered a gender reveal cake, and it turned out so well! The staff was super helpful, friendly, and patient when picking out the cake and ensured the surprise was not spoiled. The Italian cream cake with Italian cream icing was a huge hit, and the cake was devoured by our family. I would definitely return for my cake needs in the Carbondale area!

This is the worst place I've ever gone to have cakes made! Three times now they have messed up the cake designs I have asked them for for each one of my kids birthdays and ruined the birthday cakes. They cannot handle a simple order and always tell us that they can do the design and when we get it it is completely different than what we said we wanted. They lie just to get the order in. They are overpriced for the products they sell and they cannot complete a simple order the way it is ordered I will not be going back to this place again and I do not recommend it for anyone it is a waste of time and money. They have absolutely no pride in the work...

I'm only giving this place 1 star because the Wedding Cake tasted great and for everything else this place deserves No Stars at all because my husband&I made sure that the Staff knew What Kind Of Wedding Cake we wanted(design&flavor)and They Gave Us A Wedding Cake with the Wrong Color for the Design and Lettering!! If they didn't have The Color they should have Called Us so we could have picked a Different Color!! We had No Time to get it Fixed before the Wedding so we Ate it Anyway!! We Will Never In Person Order Any Special Cakes Ever Again From This Place And Never Order Anything Ever Again From...

Wonderful local bakery!! The ladies here are so nice and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. I came in to order a cake for a birthday. I told them what I wanted and they made suggestions to the colors I selected to make the cake pop more. They have a fast turn around on cakes. The store is full service with balloons and helium, a one stop shop for a birthday or other celebration. I wish I knew about this bakery when my son Graduated from SIU for undergrad. I will definitely be placing an order for Graduate school commencement. The donuts and cookies are great also. They have sugar free options...
