Just ordered 4 pieces of fried chicken to go. The sale person charged me 10 cents for a regular paper bag without telling me she will charge me the bag fee which is always free at other fast food restaurants, even the In-n-Out restaurant next to it where the to go paper bag is free. This Chick Fil A store is trying to steal money from its customers. It is not much but I will not eat at this restaurant again because the way it is doing business. Not honest to its customers.
Response to the owner:
It is a misleading message that Carlsbad requires enforcing a bag fee for all Fast food restaurants. It only enforces the PLASTIC bags, not paper bags. This is not NEW to Californians. First of all, I believe your restaurant opens for business after July 2024, all Chick-fil-A restaurants around US has never used plastic bags for to go ordering, always paper bags. Why the In-n-Out restaurant next door and Mc Donald fast food restaurant 200 feet away from yours do NOT charge paper bag fees. They are located in Carlsbad too and in business for a long time at their current location. Secondly, you have charged customers automatically without asking customers do they need a bag like all supermarkets cashiers. And furthermore, not allowed customers to use their own bags. I can carry it with my own hands. Why should I pay for a bag while I just bought a few pieces chicken for a kid? It kinds of wasting of money because I will trash the bag right at the trash bin by the door. Message for the owner: Be honest, no law requires people to buy paper bag at any restaurants. It only ban the plastic bags. Charging customers automatically is illegal. I might report it to state of CA consumer...
Read moreI decided to try this Chick Fil A for my own despite the terrible previous reviews. But, my experience was terrible and this location. Almost all Chick Fil A locations will treat the customer w/ respect for your hard earned money but NOT here. Spent $47.28 on breakfast here w/ my family and I will not be going back. Ordered a sausage burrito extra sausage ($+2) no eggs. In today’s world eggs are probably more than sausage but I said no egg and PAID extras for sausage and I saw the equivalent of like 6 very thin pieces of sausage strips. I took it up to cashier Tyler who was the only one helpful and told me if I want another new fresh burrito w/ extra sausage and I said don’t worry about it just put some extra on my burrito and it’s fine. He comes back w/ my original burrito and said the manager told him that was already extra sausage on my burrito. It was not extra as even he clearly saw and the manager refused to put it on. I’m not asking for anything extra just what I PAID for. Eating a meal w/ my family as we came from out of town this was a terrible experience. I really hope when ppl post there experiences they post based on there...
Read moreThis is a new Chick-fil-A location less than a year old. Everything is new, so it looks great. The servers are very friendly, polite, and willing to help with your requests. Inside seating is a bit limited, but there are many tables outside to eat your meal, especially when the weather is nice. You can order at the counter or from your table using their app. Your food will be delivered right to your table for extra convenience.
The food tastes great and is just like we expect from every Chick-fil-A restaurant. I usually order the Chick-fil-A Deluxe Sandwich or the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The chicken is hot and juicy, and usually, I eat more than one and still want more.
If you use mobile order pickup, there is a separate door in order to avoid the line inside. Just find your name on the screen above, and you can see the status of your order. Your food will be brought to you when it is ready.
For those who ride bikes, there is a nice bike rack on the right side of the building.
There is no...
