Why are your buns so hard?

Update: Unfortunately, my husband prefers In N Out Cheeseburgers. So in a year, we've been here at least 10 times. I can say that the food is consistent. Take it or leave it. For me, the food - especially the fries - which I have ordered all the ways you can order - are terrible. Just absolutely awful.

It is good for what it is...cheap. the French Fries are basically unedible, and definitely would not order a milkshake again. For a restaurant so popular, why not fix the fries? I understand they are 'fresh', but there is another popular place that also does fresh fries and is miles better than In and Out. Service is fast and friendly (not including the half hour you will wait in line between placing your order and picking it up) consistency is great. The parking lot is a bit tricky, especially when there is a line. They have some outdoor seating...with a view of the parking lot.

Update: we ordered the fries 'animal style' slightly improved, but still, for me, it's a no. Luckily, the location in Carlsbad has another fast food place (which doesn't take 35 minutes to get through their drive-through) with much better fries and...

You can never go wrong with one of the best burger joints SoCal has to offer. They always keep it fresh, simple, and easy!

I ordered my usual #2, a cheeseburger animal style, regular fries, and a medium drink. My cheeseburger was perfect as always, with the savory beef patty atop a buttery bun, squeezed in with grilled onions, secret sauce, cheese, lettuce, pickes, and tomatoes.

My fries were not up to par this particular visit, and I was disappointed. Mine were overdone sadly, thus, didn't enjoy the usual crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside slivers of salted goodness.

The cashier was great. Attentive, welcoming, and smiling is something that I appreciate, and he brought it! The expeditor, on the other hand, was just rambling off numbers and walked away as soon as he set on the counter and called it out. He didn't seem to have time for guest interaction or connection. Hopefully, people were on the level and didn't take other people's food, as he certainly didn't stick...

I dont usually write really long reviews about fast food but when i see swrvuce it impresses me. So bare with me.

This place is always amazing. In and out has the best burgers and fries. At this particular one, there is a cashier named jordyn...Jordyn.... she is from England and simply made my afternoon. She smiled, had the best manners, and was keen on customer service. People like Jordyn underscore the need for higher paying fast food positions. In fact if people put the effort into the their job like Jordyn, I would bet my next paycheck that the industry would grow 10% in a year. The restaurant was clean and more than that, team members were all extremely responsive to every need of every customer. I even witnessed one worker help an elderly customer who spoke little English. He spoke Spanish and intervened when the other cashier was having a difficult time. It was simple, smiles, customer service ice, good food, and...
