Corner Pizza — Restaurant in Carlsbad

A good pie with additional approval of some very seasoned, real (from Italy) Italians. The mushroom and arugula pie (Mushroom Queen) was fiercely awesome with great flavor and texture. Foldable crust. A pleasure to enjoy.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. They didn't take cash. At least at the bar area. Perhaps they take all of the electronic-cash options that my generation is slow to adopt/adapt. They were seemingly very willing to open a tab, so credit cards did it for me this evening.

I am understanding this place employs strict dietary guidelines for gluten free sensitivities. Comes highly recommended by a nearby small business owner.

The Padrino Salad was less than spectacular. Even cumbersome trying to chase the selected cuts or torn lettuces and garbanzo beans to stay atop a fork; or perhaps, trying to stab the overly tossed, now limp and well lubricated with dressing, garden greens. The pizza crust helped attack the salad on fork combination.

I am partial to the restaurateurs in this building’s “corner” spot. I hope the future works out in this location. Do stop in and get...

Andre & Alex were beyond phenomenal on service. Andre was fantastic recommending apps and pizzas to a first timer like myself and Alex was quick with clearing our app plates and bringing us new ones and just overall very very friendly.

The anchovies are fiiiiiya. Love them. Smooth taste with the olive oil. The shrimp cocktail and meatball as were also delicious.

Loved the killer bee pizza. Perfect amount of saltiness and sweet. The mushroom queen pizza was good but not my favorite but that was the point of trying multiple pizzas.

Would definitely come back again. Great vibe, excellent service...

Served 2 cheese slices that were this as paper, god knows how old and tasted like the card board pizza boxes. Never thought I’d say that Costco has better pizza. Three bites later I threw the slices out. Also they won’t take cash 😕 To be fair I had to update the review. The management responded with an offer which gave me a pizza pie gratis.. I compared Corner Pizza to Pitfire, Prager Brothers and Flippin. Unfortunately the recipe at Corner Pizza does not appeal...
