We moved to Southern California about a year ago and one of the our best discoveries was Leucadiaās. We ordered from here nearly weekly to satisfy our pizza fix but itās so much more than that. I say this with no hesitation; every single thing weāve ordered from this menu has been excellent. Not just good, excellent. Appetizers, soups, salads, pastas, desserts, and absolutely the best cauliflower crust pizza weāve ever found. We have ordered and tried every specialty pizza they offer and they made it very hard to settle on favorites but the Roasted Garlic Shrimp, the Greek, and Deluxe with broccoli were our mainstays. Priced affordably, in fact I donāt know how they arenāt losing money on the Lobster Pizza with the amount of tail meat they put on it. Delivered by the store with exceptional courtesy and no contact options. A rewards program that quickly gives you money off your future orders. Online ordering. Need I gush more?
We always ordered from the Carlsbad location and I should have done this review a year ago because they deserve people knowing what a fantastic job theyāve been doing throughout the entirety of this Covid pandemic. Sadly, we have moved north closer to LA and are now out of delivery range but I assure you, when we travel down towards San Diego next, I hope youāve got outdoor seating so we can enjoy some favorites again.
P.S. if youāre thinking about expanding in the future, Irvineās nice. Just sayinā.
P.P.S any chance you could tell me where you get those...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had our food delivered, so can't comment on the atmosphere. Jordan was super fast and I wish I realized I wouldn't be able to upgrade my tip after delivery.
Omg, everything we tried was amazing. Meatball sandwich - excellent. Bread is perfect - soft, with a crust that keeps it from falling apart.
Caprese salad- the tomatoes were firm, sweet and thick cut. The oil and balsamic were super flavorful but also subtle enough you could taste the mozzarella and tomatoes.
We tried two pizzas- shrimp and pesto and pear, gorgonzola and arugula. I thought the shrimp and pesto was the best pizza I've ever had, until I had a piece of the Pear/Gor/Aru. If you like any of the ingredients on that one, (and don't dislike any of them) this elevates every flavor and the texture is perfect.
The crust is the perfect consistency and has the flavor of good NY thin crust, but with the thickness needed for all the toppings on these artisan pizzas.
I can't get over how affordable this meal was too - honestly, I think we would have paid more for one mediocre pizza trying to do one of these recipes back in Memphis than we did for the meal, delivery, and tip for all the food.
So glad we gave this local chain a try on the recommendation of the front desk guy at our resort. I'm already thinking about ordering again (or going to dine-in) during our trip and give the calzones and the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTonight I went in to buy a gluten free pizza like I normally do. The girl that normally helps me was on the phone taking an order. A driver help me and took my order I ordered my usual a large gluten free with extra sauce pepperoni and Olive. The girl who was on the phone help me by handing me my pizza I had told her I had Branch with it she gave me one I had asked if I could have two from the driver and I offered to pay for it he said no I'll just give them to you. When I told her what the driver said she paid no attention and charged me for the extra Ranch she didn't even give me peppers or Parmesan cheese or plates. This is what I usually get offered or it's already in a bag but she did not want to give me these things. I don't know what her problem was but her attitude sucked and if I have been the manager and saw that I would of fired her on the spot! I gave the kitty of pizza the lowest rating tonight and it deserved it. I can't hardly wait to see the owner so I can tell him and give him a piece of my mind. I will never buy a pizza from this place ever again and I suggest to anybody else not support this place because it has no integrity. A big F for...
