Starbucks — Restaurant in Carlsbad

This location gets cranking when busy. When I came in, they were extremely busy and I did have a bit of a wait. The staff, however, was epic, and were cranking out order after order in spite of. The store is clean, and fully stocked with all the goods you are looking for when you come to a SB. I am traditionally not a fan of large, corporate coffee brands, as they tend over process and over roast their beans. I was doing my daughter a favor, however, and satisfying her craving for a caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino. For me personally, this is a no go, as I am not into all that sweetness. For her, the drink was perfect. It was well blended without clice chunks that one sometimes gets when they order. For me, I grabbed an iced latte. This batch was actually not bad at all. Beans did not have that over roasted burnt taste, thus, was pleasantly surprised. The only negative thing to share about this site is the infrastructure on the outside. The driveway and parking is extremely tight, small, and overcrowded. It is hard to navigate if you have a large vehicle. Additionally, there is no drive through, thus, with limited parking, and people coming in and out to take their orders to go, it is slightly...

Oh my lucky stars!! I believe this particular Starbucks has been birth directly from Seattle, WA. I call it 'The Barn' simply because it's as big as one! It's uniquely constructed w/ organic compounds, green building standards, along w/ oxygen breath-taking succulents, cozy private nooks, mural size paintings, an ambiance of peace/tranquility. Now, the awesome employees that run this quaint, relax, enjoy your stay, however long it may be are...Nate, aka Cross; he bares on his wrist, as he represents humbleness & joy, while serving top notch beverages, w/o neglect to even a utensil w/ your toasted tomato-basil panini. Wendy, aka Beautiful Dragonfly; as she resembles the fastest insect on this planet, 60 mph, attentively working non-stop w/ a genuine meek Spirit. Trista, aka Sergeant; she melts your heart w/ the most welcoming, vibrant smile. I had to shake her hand, thanking her for her courage/bravery serving our country. If it weren't for ppl as her, I don't know where'd we be. And, Robyn, aka Intellectual Jewel, her demeanor is absolute exuberance at best! I love this Starbucks! I've been planted here for the last week, and, the only animal Spirit missing, is my American Paint...

Sometimes I get what I want and other times it seems like the baristas get confused.

Today I sent my fiancé to grab for me a venti caramel macchiato, non fat milk, three shots of espresso, and 2 pumps of vanilla.

I wrote it down for him and he read it out loud to the barista. That’s the only reason I know he didn’t ask for the wrong thing.

They made me a venti caramel frappe with a single shot of espresso.

Unfortunately I was on a tight schedule so I can’t go back and ask for another. This also isn’t the first time I’ve come across this issue at this particular location.

I’ll ask for drinks hot and get served cold ones. Or I ask for an extra shot only not to receive it.

The baristas themselves seem to be kind and courteous so my guess is that this is happening due to some kind of burn out on the team. Especially since it’s the holiday season. If people get too tired and overworked, these mistakes will happen more frequently. I hope Starbucks finds a way to help support these staff members as this location...
