I am a local on the island (6 yrs) and tried Granny's Country Kitchen for the first time today. Food was alright to pretty good. French toast club sandwich was very good. Service left something to be desired (spilled coffee when sitting cup down with no acknowlegment or offer of additional napkins when we cleaned it up, offer of coffee refill after a very long time of empty cup, no friendly greeting). Displaced electrical outlet box on wall with wires showing was concerning. Damp towel used to wipe tables was never washed or dipped in a disinfecting solution for the entire time we were there and was thrown on the counter where takeout orders and menus were kept when not in use. We ate inside which was cramped, hot, and very noisy. Bell on door is very loud and piercing and didn't seem to matter to employees so no reason to have it. Food was on the expensive side for breakfast.
