Fun Time Ice Cream — Restaurant in Carolina Beach

Awesome service, friendly staff and best of all great ice🍦🍨 cream and food, I highly recommend Fun Time Ice Cream! Anytime my family and I are in Carolina Beach my daughter's will not let us leave without stopping by to get their favorite ice cream from their favorite place at the beach. Keep up the great work crew/staff, management and ownership your hard work and dedication to serving your customers does not go unnoticed. From the very moment that our daughter's find out we are going back to Carolina/Kure beach and Fort Fisher my daughter's start asking one thing seriously. "Can we stop to and get ice cream and fries 🍟 at that place we always stop at"? They are small from ages ten, eight and six so they can't ever remember the name of it but they surely remember where it is and make sure to point it out screaming, "Dad there it is right there that's the place" lol. To me that speaks volumes, especially when we live approximately two hours away and there are several places along the route that sell ice cream and great food, some of those places we have also patronized but they always insist on Fun Time. My wife and I love it as well they have some of the best burgers,🍔 hotdogs🌭 and fries.🍟 You know those small little places always make the best 👌 burgers and fries in my opinion much better than the big chain establishments/restaurants. With all of that said next the time you are in Carolina or Kure beach and get the urge for some ice cream or a great burger make sure you stop by Fun Time, you will definitely have a fun time lol. They do have a two outdoor seats but that's for waiting on your food and they don't have any indoor seating it is a order and go type of place. My family and I highly recommend it if you can't already tell that by my mile long review lol sorry folks but when great service is rendered everytime you have patronized a place I feel a good review rather short or long is in order. There were two young men working the other night. We showed up 30 minutes before close to a line down the side of the building. We waited maybe 10 minutes to order our food, I'm fairly certain it was shorter, and our items came out in 5 minutes. They had at least 50 orders in the time we sat and ate. And everything came out so quickly and professionally. These workers had their work rhythm down pat, but they weren't so engrossed that they couldn't get you napkins, straws, etc if you asked. A girl came up 2 minutes to close and they treated her just like ever other customer if seen so far, kindly and patiently. At closing time they let us know they were closing and wanted to know if anyone needed to order anything else before they officially closed up. ALWAYS OUR 1ST MEAL ON VACATION BEST CHILI CHEESE FRIES...not just in the area either. There reeeeeally good. The chili is home made and the correct type of cheese is used and melts perfectly. Staff is extremely nice and that says a lot for younger employees these days. The place was super busy and all the employees kept calm and worked as a team. ONLY RECOMMENDATION stop trying to fit 2 chili cheese fries, cheese burger and 4 ranches into one small bag.
