Hooks hotdogs — Restaurant in Carolina Beach

Happened upon this joint quietly tucked away on the boardwalk. Super super solid. Everything you want in a boardwalk dog with price you can’t argue with. 2 dogs “Hooks” style (chili, slaw, mustard) I added jalapeños, for $5.25. I gave 5 stars for the atmosphere bc Google requires a rating. It’s a boardwalk walk up spot. The board walk and the beach are the atmosphere and should have no hindering on the establishments rating in this case. But the interior from eyeshot seemed up to snuff. Super super happy with my brief engagement. For all those cats that have something to say about prices, bring cash. I paid cash, it is clearly noted on their menu that any Credit Card transaction has a $3.00 service fee. Bring cash leave happy. ...

Its a walk up service…We had probably about 4 of these hotdog with a party of 2 over the course of two days… They are great.. and tasty..hard to eat just one.. the hot dogs are bright leaf brand..the chili is flavorful and the customer service is great.. they have all kinds of toppings even the sweet tea… is excellent.. is it is also very quick service each time..I would recommend to get a quick bite when you go to the beach..if you want to avoid the $2 card fee bring cash.. This place is awesome! We called and asked if they had any veggie dogs. They said they were currently out, but could run and get some! We didn't want to put them out so said they didn't have to do that, and they said they'd have them available the next day. So while on the beach the next day, we went to get the hot dogs for lunch, and they did not disappoint. Tasty veggie dogs (and regular ones as well according to our meat eater friends) with yummy toppings that really hit the spot for a quick lunch by the boardwalk.
