Silver Dollar — Restaurant in Carolina Beach

Last Friday, 23 July 2021, was my first time at the Silver Dollar for Karaoke and I have my schedule set to return this Friday! 🤗 I went to support my NEW Karaoke DJ Friend Captain Spero and found a HOUSE FULL OF INVITING, RECEPTIVE, AND WARM PATRONS 💖🤗! I have a "LIFE LONG" love for singing, and was made to feel like a REGULAR RIGHT OUT THE GATE! 🤗! I'm looking VERY MUCH FORWARD TO CONTINUING TO BE THERE THIS WEEK AND FOR THE WEEKS AHEAD 💖! By far the best bar around. They have an over the top staff from the bartenders to the bouncers. Oh, and there was this wicked talented kareoke dj that hosts karaoke 7 says a week. Kareoke can be such a scary experience but with how nice she was, it made it so much easier! I think her name is Veronica? Maybe Valerie but I think I just remebr that because it was sung that night 🤷‍♂️There was another bar that also happened to be doing kareoke that night and it was an absolutely horrible experience. But we found silver dollar and instantly fell in love. If I could give this place more stars and apprasil, I would 10/10! My girlfriends and I just had a terrifying experience at this bar and did NOT feel safe. There was no signage on the door we entered the bathroom for efficiency and all of a sudden a random aggressive man was banging the door like he wanted to break it down - we were terrified to leave the restroom upon exiting the bathroom this random large aggressive man pulled the drink from my hand and harassed us until we left. He never explained who he was or why he was being so aggressive. I can’t imagine why a few girls going to the bathroom together would warrant such a ridiculous and obsessive reaction. Pathetic.
