Well, I hope this gets better, but I’m not going to bet on it.
First, I got my regular - almost daily for more than a decade - order, but for the first time ever, it tasted like bitter grass (I let my dogs have it). My nephew’s order was equally as bad; he dumped his out the window before we left the parking lot.
Secondly, the incredibly rude red-complected chick at the drive thru window with the giant weeping cold sore on her face and the hacking cough, who coughed all over her bare hands before taking my card and handing me our germ-and-spittle infested lattes? That was beyond repulsive. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I vomited a little in my mouth. Why is she serving??? But then she informed me that y’all don’t do pup cups, and if/when you ever do, you’re charging a buck ninety-nine each for them….Which means I’ll continue driving out to Steubenville or Wintersville for the foreseeable future where Brad’s people are trained, sane and courteous, because this was not just the grossest experience I’ve ever had at a Dunkin, Bigbees, or Starbucks, it was also the most potentially expensive. Two dollars for a couple of tablespoons of whipped cream that you would have put on our lattes for free had I not asked for no whip??? That’s not just ridiculous, it’s bad customer service. Get real and...
Read moreI visited this location via drive thru this morning on my way home from work, this would have been around 430 this morning. I was the only car in drive thru and my order consisted of two bottled sodas and two breakfast sandwiches. I felt extremely rushed and the tone of the drive thru attendant was extremely annoyed, rushed and unpleasant. I was not told at any point what the total payment of my order was. My order and debit card were thrust at me from the pick window. The phrases “pull up” “receipt? Yes or no!” “Here’s your order” window slams were the entirety of my interaction with the staff at this location. To top off the experience, my breakfast sandwich wasn’t fully cooked through (I ordered the turkey sausage muffin. The muffin was warm, but the sausage was ice cold in the middle). I wasn’t looking for a drawn out conversation, but taking the time to say “please” and “thank you” or even “have a nice day” really goes a long way. Stopping for this type of thing is a treat for myself and my family. The quality of service and product plays a large part in the likelihood of returned visits. I left the parking lot feeling like I had wasted my time and money. I feel that the smallest attention to detail could have made this experience a much more...
Read moreDid y’all even do a soft open? Stopped in this morning for a sandwich, donuts, and coffee. First, the place is staffed at the same capacity of a Dunkin in an international airport. How can you have so many people working and still get it wrong? Wife got a half dozen and I grabbed some more. The Boston Creams had all of about 1/10th an ounce of crème in them, not exaggerating. Wife’s bagel sandwich was burnt, not joking. The top half felt like a hockey puck. I ordered some hazelnut coffee thing, they’re already out of stock (you just opened). In place of that I ordered a Mocha Latte. This thing tastes like my four year old made me a cup of coffee and then squeezed half a pound of chocolate syrup into it. Dear Dunkin’, we are in Carrollton, OH a small staple of Americana that is getting chipped away at and lost. Your popup corporate store is going to need to do better. Right now y’all in there acting like this is Akron. Take it back a notch, double check your orders, make sure it’s done right. Above all, have some pride. We will try ya again in a couple of...
