This McDonalds had actually been improving. But after today, it appears nothing changes over time. Went to Drive Through for lunch at about 12:45 PM, ordered fairly timely, paid fairly quickly, and even got my Drink; but was then asked to park for my order. They had parked so many cars that there were no longer any assigned parking places for customers being parked. When I asked the Manager individual running the drive through what the issue was, they told me that they had a bunch of people quit, the GM left and it was lunch time. Then I heard them holler to the staff, parking him. They said that every McDonalds parks people at busy lunch times, I asked "every car", to which they replied yes. I said it wasn't that way when I worked as a GM at another McDonalds location.
After I parked my car I decided that I would go in to get my food, since they were so busy, who knows how long it would be to get a free employee to bring my food to me in my car. When I got inside I was asked by a very nice young lady if I needed to order and I told her I had ordered and been parked, but was inside to get my order. At that time she asked me what my order was so that she could keep an eye out for it.
While I was waiting I was talking to another customer who stated that the manager at the window had said that someone at the window who used to work for McDonalds just cussed her out. Well I guess she was referring to me, but I never cussed her out, I simply explained that I used to be a GM for McDonalds and that is not the way things were run there. The other customer told me that the managers actions and behaviors were only worsening the situation.
You could hear the manager, almost yelling, at the staff throughout the dining area, which fortunately had limited guests (1 waiting for food and 2 waiting to order). Finally, someone who I could not see spoke up to the staff (I'm guessing the nice young lady who greeted me at the counter) and asked them to stop, take a breath and continue on with their tasks.
It was a horrible representation of how a McDonalds should be run and/or how a manger should communicate with any customer, internal...
Read moreI was doing DoorDash earlier this morning from this location, and when I arrived, the door was locked. So, I have to go to the drive thru. I explained to the person that I had a DoorDash pickup, and she said that she hasn’t gotten the order or hasn’t shown up yet. When it finally arrived on their end, the person told me to let the customer know that they were out of burritos and hotcakes. I let the customer know and called the customer for any substitution. When I got up to the second window, I told the girl cashier that I had a DoorDash pickup, and she said that they were out of the hotcakes and burritos, and they just switched over to lunch. When I mentioned that to the customer, he asked me to ask the girl if he can get a substitution of an equal value of what he ordered. She was looking like she don’t know what I was talking about. Then, she left and another person came up to the window and explained that same situation to me again. Then the customer wanted to see if he can get a McGriddle. Then the second person left and a 3rd person came up and asked about the order, and I had to reexplain what I had said to the previous 2 people. The line was about to be filled up, and then the customer wanted to just get the order. The customer was chill with me, however, the first cashier girl had this attitude when she handed the order to me. This will be the last time I am doing DoorDash at this...
Read moreI am so tired of this store. They can't get a order right to save their lives. I have on more than 5 occasions had wrong food or not my whole order. I have placed an order so when i get there it will be ready. I ordered 2 boxes of 13 cookies. I waited about 10 minutes before leaving my house to give them time. I get their I get parked. 13 minutes later I get my order. I get home and not only do I not have both boxes but the one box I did get only had 11 cookies. They say they are hiring and will have ppl come in to get their uniforms and their schedule but have them sit in the lobby for 2 hours before even coming up and speaking to them. My daughter came there and the so called " Manager " asked her to sit down and wait for her and this fool I mean " manager" never came back to her. She sat there for 2 hours and that fool did not even tell her can you come or I'm busy or anything. My daughter left. My same thing but he was there for 4 hours having to fill out another application because he lost it and then 2 hours after that he said my boss said we don't need anyone at this time. If you have time and money to waist go here you NEVER get your whole order, they park you and forget about you , the managers are a joke and should not be managers.
