Waffle House — Restaurant in Carrollton

Not sure what’s up the waitresses butts but they ALWAYS have the worst service. I normally go to the one in Bremen because they have the best service and cooks but I decided to come here this time. On 6/20 the waitress with no front teeth never greeted me and when she came to take my order she just looked at me. So I said “UMMM GOOD MORNING” and she said “I’m sorry I’m trying to wake up”. Lady I just worked 12 hours so I really don’t care, I’m tired and sleepy too, all I ask is for you to be polite and I’ll do the same. But she wasn’t too tired to talk to the other customers.... soooo whatever. Today 6/21 I had an African American lady. She greeted but the service was trash. My cup was empty for about 10 minutes before I had to stop her and ask for a refill but she claimed they don’t do it for orange juice, which is fine but damn offer me water WITHOUT having to stop you. But she made sure to ask the guy if he wanted refills on his coffee. Don’t get me wrong she offered water but that was AFTER I had to stop her to ask for a drink. These two women need at least BASIC customer service training because it’s horrible. I’ll stick with Bremen where they actually acknowledge me and I can be happier with leaving good tips because they always deserve it. Also, they ALWAYS refill my OJ without me asking or charging me. So the scattering of 1 star reviews don't make much sense to me - honestly, unless they are covered up there aren't dirty tables (but FYI, since you can seat yourself and they are covered at certain times being near the college there are going to be some tables not yet picked up, they can't be everywhere at once. Sheesh people).

So to my review - LOVE this waffle house. Back in graduate school I would drive 40 minutes to get cheese eggs (thank goodness Auburn has a WH now LOL). So I know waffle house and this is a GREAT one! The servers are honestly the nicest as a whole I have come across - I mean Amanda is just as friendly as you will find on the planet and that adorable young Kendrell is super efficient (please tell him his fave shrink said HEY!).

I can't eat this kind of food as much as I did when I was younger, but a cheese and eggs plate, a double cheese burger, and a cheese steak on texas toast well... if that isn't living, I honestly don't...

Slow, slow, sloooooooooooooow. Restaurant wasn’t busy, they had 5 people working. Cook and server arguing over how to call out orders. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns. No ham was in the omelet. Didn’t get my toast. My friend ordered the Allstar. His hash browns were plain, when they took it back to correct it, they came back 10 mins later. But forgot his eggs and toast. Took another 10 mins to get that. Finally got his waffle. Took another 5 mins to get syrup for it. No jelly for his toast. When we sat down it took them 10 mins just to take a drink order and another 10 mins to take our food order. Dirty tables everywhere. They seriously need some leadership here.
