Subway — Restaurant in Carrollton

The team members at this location have always been distinguished for being friendly and courteous. The location is somewhat convenient as there is some traffic from the pizza place next to it. Food is consistent with subway standards, so good and fresh. As of this post (Fall 2021) I noticed in the entrance that they were not participating in any promotions nor honoring any kind of coupons. Personally, I rarely use coupons, but during my visit a senior lady presented one and was told that they were not taking any. She politely asked to speak with the owner, but was not around. Staff members politely answered her questions and she went on somewhat disappointed and in disbelief. I still was able to get some rewards from the app, which makes me wonder if coupons and rewards work through the app. As we enjoyed our meal I noticed some ceiling tiles with signs of leaks and some dirty air condition returns. There were some piled empty boxes on the way to the restroom, which may not amount to much but it makes me wonder about the conditions inside (staff area). Overall, three stars but one is...

Just found a long piece of hair in my sandwich. No hairnets worn by anyone. Have to throw away $40 worth of food now. Absolutely disgusting.

Update (5/10): Spoke with “Randy” and after explaining what happened she responded “we can’t do anything about it and you have to call customer service since it’s a digital order” instead admitting to not wearing hair nets. She wouldn’t provide me a manager or owners information. Neglectful and also said that I “should’ve have brought the food for proof”???? As if I was going to dig food out of the trash to prove that their employees hair is in our food. I even showed a picture and she just laughed it off with her co worker.

DEFINITELY REPORTING TO CARROLLTON CITY HALL, BBB, and SUBWAY HQ.

Don’t eat at this establishment especially since NO ONE WEARS HAIR NETS.

Update (5/10): Sanitary went to the location and cited them for their uncleanliness and unhygienic handling of food and educated them to wear hairnets. I doubt they’ll follow. Just be careful when they are making your food and remind them to...

I almost always order the ham sandwich here with mozzarella cheese. I like the fact that I can ask for extra salad ingredients on the sandwiches and they put almost twice the normal amounts without charging extra. They will put extra meat, but they will charge for that. I get extra lettuce, extra spinach, extra cucumbers, extra tomatoes, extra black olives, and extra Parmesan cheese. They also have onions, pickles, banana peppers, bell peppers, etc. My husband barely gets salad ingredients on his ham, but more often gets the hot meatball sandwich and just gets it with the cheese. They also toast the meat, bread, and cheese if you want that before adding the other toppings. The selection of breads is good as well as the different meats and salad dressings or condiments.
