Avalon Cafe And Boba — Restaurant in Carson

This is my go-to boba spot, I look forward to treating myself to Avalon Cafe and Boba several times a week. I either get a peach/mango smoothie with boba or a mango smoothie with boba. The fruit used in their smoothies taste 100% real. Their smoothies are tea-based, which is waaaaay better pair with boba smoothie: Every time I purchase online, they have it ready by the promised time, often before. The reason I rated the store 4/5 is because I don’t taste a regular amount of boba every order. It’s possible that TLC wasn’t put into it and/or some employees are more willing to be liberal with portioning since I’m paying extra. Nonetheless, if this issue continues, I am definitely still shopping here. I will order/pay for extra extra boba or order in-person and ask politely for a lil extra on top of the extra portion I’m paying for to avoid being disappointed with a small amount of boba. First time trying Avalon Cafe and Boba. It took me about 8 minutes just to place my order the menu has way too many options and is kind of overwhelming. Honestly, they could simplify it and redesign it to make it easier to read. I originally wanted a simple iced coffee, but they didn’t have it, so after some back and forth, I settled on an iced espresso. I also ordered the Avalon Lunch Monster, but it was a soggy mess that kept falling apart while I tried to eat it. The flavors were pretty bland, and at around $20 for the sandwich and drink, it felt overpriced for what I got. They did seem short-staffed though, so I’ll give them 3 stars and hope it was just an off day.

Update after their response: The sand-which had no flavor, tasted like it was microwaved, and was drenched in sauce yet still bland. The iced espresso was so milky you could barely taste any coffee. For a place that calls itself a cafe, they seem to probably excel at boba and overly sugary,...

They were so kind ! I'm pregnant and am watching how much caffeine I drink and they were so kind as to accommodate my very strage coffee request! Best brown sugar latte !! Idk if they have onkh one size because I wasn't paying attention, but the small was just too little. I needed like 3 more because it was soooo goooooood!!!
