Chinese Deli — Restaurant in Carson

I've been searching for a spot that taste similar to China Express that's in Stockton and finally after a year, we decided to try this spot!!! Fried rice and chow main spot on and even better cuz of the smokyness from the wok. The lady even called to the back to give us fresher BBQ pork when there was a lot left in the front, which was nice! Orange chicken isn't bad, crunchy.. Teriyaki chicken really tender... Broccoli beef was OK, little over cooked on the broccoli but the taste of the stir fry sauce was good.. And we got beef eggrolls, that wasnt bad either: full of cabbage and some carrots with bits of ground beef. I have alot of food left after eating! Can't complain lol. Sure the building appearance is not great, but hey the food was decent. Would totally recommend this tiny spot to anyone who miss out on simple Chinese...

Best steam table Chinese I've ever had. The only lady behind the counter was efficient with the line that was in there.

Bbq pork was tender and delicious, grab some hot mustard. The orange chicken is something we don't usually order but was great here, still crunchy. Egg foo young was made fresh to order and surprisingly wonderful, airy and the best use of water chestnuts I've seen. The lady even chopped it up for us with a huge cleaver so it was easier to eat. The fried rice has chunks of bbq pork and egg and the chow mein had chicken and egg. They have both Sriracha and chili oil. It was enough food for two plus leftovers

It's been open for forty years and is inside a cute, kitchy building. Parking lot is tiny and one way, enter from KFC...

Food good. A little salty at times but they really have good food and service. It Ilis so past due time to revamp and repaint that place, clean those high ceilings and dust really good an just get new renovation done to the place. I wish they could be on Chef Ramsey's show and get a facelift. The place has LITERALLY not been painted since the late 70s or early 80s. I remember when this place was fried fish market but now they have been there long enough to have gotten me paint on the wall Pay a professional cleaning service to clean those ceilings and high walls. This place.needs a big facelift. I'm really afraid dust or dirt will fall into the food one day and they might just pick it up and...
