If I can give the Chinese/Asian lady in the register a 00000 or a negative review, I would. Me and my daughter came in to order some seafood plate and musubi. The lady asked us what we want and I told her and point at the second picture in their menu that I want the seafood combo plate. The lady was very rude and kept making inaapropriate faces and gesture (rolling her eyes and shaking her head). I thought I made a mistake in ordering so I asked my daughter if she understands what the lady is talking about. My daughter doesn’t understand her either. Instead of helping us with our orders because me and my daughter both didn’t understand her, or didn’t know what we did wrong, she kept making rude faces and gestures. We ended up not ordering anything and told her before we walked out that she should not be treating her customers rudely and poorly. We ended up buying food from Chile Verde next door instead and the lady employee who helped us was very nice and acting normal. Employee like that at L&L Hawaiian with poor customer relations, and no kindness at all should not be working in customer service or sales. I wonder how she treats other customers who can’t communicate with her well. If you are having a bad day lady, don’t take it out on your customers. And mind you, you are acting so frustrated not understanding me or my daughter when it was you who has a very thick accent!! I have been coming to this place for like 10 years now and this is the 1st time we were treated poorly. I hope the owner or the manager will look into this. I came in 04/25/2022 around 2:15 pm.
Update: I called the L&L place in Carson as soon as we got home to file a complain. I talked to a very nice lady. I asked for the manager, and guess what???? that rude lady is the manager! The courteous employee talked to me and remembered me and my daughter who walked out from their place earlier. She agreed with me that we should not be treated the way we were treated. I was told the rude employee is on break but should call in 30 minutes so I can talk to her and let her know that her attitude is...
Read moreThe food is always great! we love L&L and have no issues with the restaurant but this time the customer service was terrible! To say the least, clearly the woman who took our order was having a bad day or does not know what customer service is! She didn't say hello even though we said hello to her, she stood there inpatient while we decided what to order she did not say a word! She had an angry expression on her face took our order my husband paid and said thank you and again she didn't say a word! As we paid she immediately turned her back on us, but forgot to give us our cups for our drinks, I then asked for the cups, she handed them to me and my husband again, said thank you! And again she didn't care to say, You're welcome and much less to say she was sorry for forgoting to give us the cups, She was just rude! As a few other customers were leaving one of them said to this woman that she was extremely rude and that being more courteous with the customers would go along way! As the customer left she proceeded to start talking bad about that customer and trying to justify herself. Needless to say, we will not be going back to this place. It's very unfortunate because we love this place and as paying customers we deserve to be treated with respect and great customer service This is the L & L in Carson on Albertoni and Avalon. Today is 12/22/24 and we were there around 3pm. Don't go to this place if you expect to be treated with kindness...
Read moreI'm usually not the type to rate low but man how this L&L has changed. I remember if you ordered a full plate a few years back you would be so full you couldn't even get through half of your plate. Now a days they barely even give you any food and that's the truth. I understand times have changed but if you're paying for a plate not a small order you should at least get a generous portion for about 16 17$ not including drink LOL. It's the plain ol truth lol.... the food is now lacking flavor and is mediocre to say the least. I remember coming here and being excited to eat her now I have learned my lesson and won't be returning. I spent about 32$ on two plates of bones and fat in my BBQ mix plate and all breading in my Katsu plate lol. Not to mention the 1 and a half scoop of rice they give you and half a scoop of macaroni LOL.... for a chain this isn't too unacceptable for the prices. I understand we are going thru different times but this place is literally ripping you off and giving you bones and cabbage.... I wish I could be lying.... order here and you shall see..... make shure to grab some sauce and hot sauce youre going to need it to flavor up...
