Stopped in for the first time, not even knowing about this place. The beautiful bright well thought out signs and murals from outside is what grabbed my attention. Then when I walked inside it was like a bagel breakfast and whatever else you can think of museum lol. Even cooler murals inside of bagels, working in the factory. Beautiful marble counter tops with great, friendly people right on the other side ready to greet you and help with whatever it is you need. Now on to the most important. The food. I got a little of everything on the breakfast menu since it was morning time , and I have to say everything I ordered hit the right way. Everything was fresh, made while I was waiting. Not pre cooked and kept warm ready to go. I know because I spoke to a very nice gentleman named Junior while I was waiting for my order being made. He spoke so highly of Carteret, the people, and surrounding areas . Such a nice person. This guy knew everyone's names, what their order was, which town they came from to get the food . . . SIMPLY AMAZING. You don't see business owners involved and interacting with the customers, and just people in general anymore. I had a great overall first time experience and will definitely be back real soon to see Junior and the staff and try their lunch menu next ! Shout out to Roosevelt Bagel Factory. 10/10 Food with a friendly/family vibe and the coolest atmosphere around Hands Down Recommend This Place To Everyone ! Best In MIddlesex...
Read moreOkay i forgot to take picture’s but i do not mind showing what i already dug into! (So you get qtr. of the dish lol) This time I got a watermelon cup and my regular chicken Cesar salad no tomatoes and extra cucumber👅. Idk but there is something off about the salad dressing, I taste different things but rolled into one… it’s addictive ❤️. I literally get some on the side, to keep in my fridge for fried chicken. The presentation of your order is always good. The chicken is grilled and flavorful by itself. The watermelon I consumed while waiting for the dish shared it with my granddaughter.. fresh, sweet and plentiful. I forgot to call it in so i had to wait, it wasn’t a long wait. But I wish they’d put bench or two outside. You can drive and wait but there is only one good spot in front of it or in front of the Hall next door. It’s nice to see the employees of local youths’. Staff is friendly communicative do not push and are willing to please. I’ve had their bagel (soft) and cream cheese (a lot) original chip cheese sandwich (on a roll) French toast. Those are my go to items but i do want to try the fried fish! Worth the money and the trip. So glad it’s on this side of Carteret instead of the Carteret mall!!!!! Perfect location (wait till school start...
Read moreFinally Carteret gets a bagel shop (and other great menu items) that is worth going to and located in a convenient place besides the shop rite mall area🙄. Its grand opening was great the giveaways were good. So far I’ve had the chop cheese sandwich, grilled cheese with bacon, bagel and cream cheese (a lot of creme cheese) and their Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The sauce is delicious, it has its own taste. The owner is has good conversation and i wish him the best, because i truly enjoy the convenience. The only drawback for me is the place closes at 6 pm. Though it DO open at 6 am. There is no dining in or outside. But I wish they’d put a couple of benches outside, for the wait (maybe down the line) The handheld buzzers to alert you when your order is ready is the best idea!! This part of Roosevelt is a busy street with foot traffic for the schools and churches!! Good venue....
