UPDATE: My review STANDS, especially since the owner decided to issue a rebuttal. I give you full permission to publish your so called recording so others can hear how you treat your customers. Either your offending employee lied to you, or you simply don’t have the facts straight. I was on the phone the whole time, and your employee was rude, period. And by your response, this is obviously the culture you foster there. Buyer Beware!
After sitting at the library for more than half an hour trying to print a shipping label, I sent my dad to the UPS store on Roosevelt Ave so they could help him. He walked in a 5pm. I live out of state so I could only troubleshoot by phone. Surely the nice people at UPS would help (I thought). Not only was the lady unhelpful, she was extremely rude and disrespectful towards my dad as I listened to the interaction while I was on the phone. I tried to call ahead several times but no one would answer the phone. The app was malfunctioning and we were having all kinds of issues but I managed to use the online tool to send a label to the email address at the store and I also sent another email asking to please help my dad. She tried to charge him twice for the same label. When he misunderstood and asked why he had to pay twice for the same label, she belittled him when he tried to give it back. When he asked her again why he was being charged, she said “just pay for the label and what I heard sounded like “and go”. I was so upset that my dad was spoken to like that. That woman needs training in customer service and basic human kindness. However bad your day was, my dad didn’t deserve that and I mentioned that the experience would be reflected in my review on speaker. Shame on you. Read moreI don’t usually write these sorts of reviews, but I felt it was important to take a moment and say a few kind words about a young man who truly impressed me — Tejpal. In all my years, it’s rare to come across someone so polite, hardworking, and dependable. They don’t make them like him much anymore.
From the moment I met Tejpal, he treated me with such respect and patience. He listened carefully to what I needed, and he never rushed me — not once. At my age, I’ve seen a lot of people come and go, and I can tell you with certainty that Tejpal is a good soul. He does his work with care, and he takes the time to make sure it’s done right. That means a great deal to folks like me.
He reminded me of how things used to be — when a handshake meant something and people took pride in doing a good job. Tejpal showed up on time, did everything he promised (and then some), and made sure I was completely comfortable and satisfied before he left. That kind of service is hard to come by these days.
I told my children and grandchildren about him, and I said, “Now there’s a young man you can trust.” And I meant it. If you ever have the chance to work with Tejpal, don’t hesitate. You’ll be in good hands.
