Noe Street Waterfall Park — Attraction in Carteret

Passersby to the Noe Street Waterfall Park can be forgiven for not noticing this little gem of a recreational site, owing to its proximity to the larger and more conspicuous Sportsplex located across the street, and that this park is more set back from the street. However, once an opportunity is taken for just a glance, and one can appreciate that this park offers the perfect compliment to the offerings of the Sportsplex. Instead of active participatory activities that are exertive, Noe offers a more relaxed, temperate way of recreating. It has a long path for walking or jogging, a very small playground and fitness area, and of course, the park's eponymous keynote attraction, the "waterfall". Near Washington Ave. Good place to walk to after getting some food and dessert in the nearby area. Small/mini waterfall and many in the area pass this area, not noticing...
