Waves of Wine — Restaurant in Carteret

First OFFICIAL time going inside. The first time I came I literally opened the door and closed it bc the smell of spices were too strong (for me) the second time I gave it a try and the smell was still there but I overlooked it in hopes to have a good night. The bartender didn’t understand us (understandable) she did get someone to help but what if he wasn’t there. After ordering my drink I noticed my cup (plastic) was cracked causing my drink to leak all over and possibly have plastic particles (who knows) I did inform the owner (I’m guessing that’s who he was) but instead of giving me a brand new drink and cup, he put my cracked cup in a new cup. I know he probably didn’t want to waste it but it was wasted anyway as I left it there untouched. Nice looking establishment but will not...

If I could give this place zero stars I would. First off they do false advertisements to try and get customers. Perfect example was for New Year's Eve apparently free appetizers and dj, absolutely nothing at all. When I asked the owner about the dj he tried to be funny about it and said he was the dj smh. On top of that the bartenders don't know how to make drinks, the bathroom hardly ever has toilet paper and hand soap. Had been to an event in Roosevelt ave and saw this shop. I thought it was a regular bottle shop but was surprised once I entered the shop . They had a very good bar to sit and enjoy some beers 🍻 on tap. They also had a DJ kinda guy playing some songs . Good space inside to sit and eat / drink. Amazing service and quick billing . Inside the room, there is a bottle shop with decent collections of beer / wine Etc. parking is a bit tight . Overall a very good...
