We have been eating at Buffalo's for more than a decade and have gone to a few of the locations. This was our first time at the new Cartersville location. We went to lunch with some out of town family who wanted to try it. The food was okay at best. Everything was served kind of cold and didn't have as much flavor as we have come to expect. The fries were a little undercooked and didn't have much seasoning, the garlic bread tasted like dry toast, and no one in our party was blown away by their meal except for the toddler who had mac and cheese. The best part was probably the appetizer. We could have probably gotten over the food thing except for the fact that we had some of the worst service I've ever had in my life. The waitress seemed like perhaps she was meant to be a bartender and got stuck with us and was VERY unhappy about it. She was outwardly disgruntled, didn't check on us, took forever to get anything to us (including change from my bill which I ended up just leaving without) because she would stay at the bar chatting with customers or coworkers. At one point she was coming out of the bar area and newrly knocked into two of our party that were holding their toddlers and didn't say a word or indicate at all that she almost knocked over children. The food took about 30 minutes (again, not at all busy), which is not her fault, but they also left off a whole entree which I'm pretty certain she just didn't put on the check since it took another several minutes to get out. During this time she didn't come to let us know the status off the missing food or anything so we were just hoping the kitchen had been informed by the man who brought out out food that we were missing items. Overall, this trip was pretty disappointing and I am bummed to have wasted my family's time and money there. I'm really hoping they figure out whatever is lacking but for the meantime I think we will be sticking with...

Buffalo's Cafe is a chain restaurant located in Cartersville. Seems very popular as work let's out around in the surrounding areas.
What they do well? Wings. If that's your primary focus it's your spot! The Mexican food... Yes lots of Mexican food on the menu, more about that later... The Mexican food looks well made and it is tasty. .... So Wings and uh er... Mexican food.
This restaurant REALLY needs to think about their IDENTITY and either simplify their menu, at least rearrange it to one (they have two😆). You walk in and it has the look and feel of country. Not necessarily Country Western, but like down home country, like farming etc... then to have their menus placed in front of you.. with tons of Mexican food lol. Not coherent ya know?
The multiple menu thing placed in perspective. 4 people shuffling 8 menus with drinks on the table is AWFUL. Really awkward.
Note: "main" menus difficult to read. People's hands have rubbed off lettering etc
The food? Chicken was good. Hand breaded. Decent quality. Sauces were all super oily, which unfortunately covers the flavor. Burger was ok. Couldn't taste any seasoning on it. Cooked within an inch of it's life. Was like a school cafeteria burger. Mexican food tacos, burritos, chicken tortilla pasta all decent.
What's good?? Our server was phenomenal. Nice, courteous and knowledgeable on menu. She made us all feel welcome and could be the main reason we return.
All in all I would want people to support this restaurant in the locals that are working in it... However, they're corporate parent really needs to identify what's important for their identity and LEAN into it.
Our experience here was lackluster and without any resounding hooks to draw us back for a...
Read morePet lovers, beware. This manager is extremely anti-dog. Stopped in after moving all day, tired and starving. I had my dog with me, so I went and asked if it would be alright to sit on the patio with her while I ate. I do NOT believe in leaving my dog in the vehicle, so I knew wherever I ate had to be dog friendly. I was told it would be fine for me to sit on the patio with her. She was on a leash and not disturbing anyone, as I sat at a table far from the only other table with people outside. After getting my food, I was told since she was not a service dog, that the manager would not allow her to be on the patio, and he suggested I put her in my vehicle, with the windows cracked. Since when is a service dog healthier for people to be around than a normal, trained and vaccinated dog?? I could have lied, seeing as it is illegal for him to ask me for papers, but instead that will be the last time I ever eat at this terrible place. I was so unsettled, I couldn't even eat my dinner. I left as soon as the waitress returned. (The waitresses were very apologetic and nice) I have been in Athens, Ga for the past 5 years, and have literally brought her to every restaurant with a patio. I was never treated poorly by any person there, especially not...
