Seams that anyone who leaves a review does it to complain & not praise….. this post will be no exception, but a reflection of what I’ve experienced at this location in the last three months. (I used to be an owner/operator back in the 90’s) Here’s the beef…… the food quality needs much improvement. Rarely do I get anything that resembles something that Is freshly cooked. I can remember a time when Sonic had the best food quality in the business & the entire chain has fallen from grace in the entire four state area. That being said, I’ve not gotten condiments or the toppings on my sandwich correct (ever) in the last six months without fail. The majority of my visits have been in the evenings. In the last 3 months we have visited no less than a dozen times. Managers / operators / shift leads need to really pay attention to order accuracy & the expediter need to validate each & every order before sending it out the door. It wouldn’t hurt if “mystery shops” were taken to heart.
Now the good…… I’ve always had very good service at this location. The carhops are friendly, attentive & will check back on you if you’re a stay-on-the-lot eater. Read moreHave to say, I'm rather disappointed how my order went today. I eat here once every week or so and never have had much issues but along with a poor order I notice something I think is new. So, I got a couple of meals, smash burger and footlong coney. After getting to the window I found out the gal rang me up for a dbl cheeseburger instead of a coney. I ran with it since I was sick and didn't feel like dealing with the issue. Once I got home 5 minutes later I pulled out the smallest lil burger I've seen in a while along with mozzarella sticks that weren't melted and smelled as if they were cooked in bad oil. The smash burger looked boiled for some reason and after half of it and a couple mozzarella sticks I find myself blowing out my internals on the toilet. I spent 30$ on this meal, I suspect the burger size is a corporate issue but the sanitation is definitely a local issue right now. I don't think I'll be back to this location for a few months until whoever is dropping the ball there is rotated out.
Suggestion: McDonald's has never given me an issue and Arby's has a good 4 for 10 sandwich deal so try either of them instead until Sonic can get their...
Read moreArrived at lunch time with an in app order. No stalls were open after circling twice, so I joined the drive thru lane. There, I sat for 20 minutes, unable to pull out of drive thru with the way it was set up even though I only moved two car lengths that entire time. Flagged car hop down to let them know about my order and see if they could check on it. They never came back. Car line finally moved enough where I could get out of line(still never made it to order window) and found a stall open, where I checked in. Waited another 10 minutes and still nothing. Hit red button and asked ETA on order, and they couldn't give me one. Asked them to cancel my order because I couldn't wait anymore. They sounded unsure how to do it, but said when food was ready they could cancel then. This made no sense. Doubtful my order will be refunded to my account. Will have to dispute with bank.
