Bad Machines Esports Bar — Restaurant in Cary

I honestly don’t understand where all this positivity is coming from. I went here with my girlfriend, and we were really excited to play the games and all that. So right when you walk in there’s like four pieces on the right hand side and then on the left-hand side it’s a bunch of booths with TVs and then there’s the bar. So if you buy a cocktail it’s $12 for a little 6 ounce drink. The service was absolutely terrible. The guy makes the cocktail and gives it to me not my girlfriend. He’s lounging around talking to customers taking forever to take our order doesn’t ask us what games we wanna play doesn’t ask us anything helpful. So then I have to go up to him. Tell him hey I wanna play the switch so he finally gets that set up and by set up I mean, hand me two controllers. Then when you get onto the switch, there’s only five games available. You can’t play any of the classic or NES games without a signing no sign in was provided because they dont have one. They have one PlayStation that’s connected to the TV in the bar. Thats it 🫠🫠They have one Xbox. The food is OK but the portions are super small. This was overall unbelievably disappointing, and I would not go there at all. Oh and there’s like a few other little arcade games...

I had a really great experience at Bad Machines. A friend of mine told me about this cool new bar you can play video games at. I am honestly terrible at playing video games, but drinking and gaming sounded fun. As soon as I walked in... it was electric. Everyone was having such a good time. Groups of friends. Couples. It was a nice blended crowd of people. I sat at their very unique bar that has LED lights in the actual bartop. The drinks I had were delicious and not over priced. Shout out to the bartenders Hailey and Josh. Excellent, fast, and friendly service. A couple of guys sat next to me at the bar and challenged me to a game. I obviously lost (LOL), but it was blast! For other like-minded girls like me, the bathrooms were neat and tidy. Even if your not great or super into video games, you're going to have fun! If you're a gamer, consider this your new home away from home. I would highly recommend checking out this...

Bryan was amazing and she recommend an amazing drink. She definitely deserves a raise because her service was amazing!! The fact that she came up with much of a balanced drink is amazing. It was sweet enough to make me forgot about the rum but not too sweet where I feel like I will have a sugar rush. Her personality was so sweet!!! Thank you so much for the amazing experience! God...
