WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. food was disgusting. chow mein did not even have noodles, vegetables were raw. chicken was slimy and undercooked. kung pao double delight had about 4 pieces of meat total. every bite was celery and peanuts. egg rolls were missing, etc. i ordered through uber eats last night and received my order at the exact time of closing so was unable to call and do anything about my issue until today. guy on the phone was rude, impatient, actually CUSSED at me and refused to hand the phone over to anyone else. i did not ask for a refund, simply an exchange. he tells me to call uber and acts as if it is their fault that the food i received was entirely wrong and disgusting. UBER DID THEIR PART. THEY DO NOT OWE ME ANYTHING. I even explained that i still have the food to give back. i am not trying to get free food, just trying to get what i paid for. I serve tables and have been doing so for years, so i try not to be THAT customer, but in a situation like this, i deserve the right. if my manager heard me turn down my request (as a customer) and speak to me the way that man spoke, i would be fired INSTANTLY. I am trying to calm down and i will call one more time. if i get the same man or have the same issue, i will make my way up there. i guess we will see...
Read moreMost of the food that we had was good, the issue we encountered was that all of the rice products were room temperature. We got it to go and they were still putting it together when we arrived at the restaurant, which means it wasn't sitting for a while. We also only live 3 miles away from the place and we went straight home.
The white rice was stiff and tepid, the fried rice wasn't all dried out, but it was room temperature. The flavor of the fried rice was great, but we had to microwave it before we could eat it. The white rice was too far gone to even reheat.
My husband also ordered fried dumplings. When he opened them up, there was about a quarter inch of oil sitting in the bottom of the container and the dumplings were soaking in the oil on the trip home. He said they weren't edible (disgusting was the word he used upon tasting them).
Lastly, I was shorted some fried noodles. At only .69 cents a bag, it's not that big of a deal, but when you spend $45 you expect all the food to be there.
I think we might try this place again, we won't get fried dumplings, not for anything, and we'll check the rice before we leave to make sure it's good. The sweet and sour chicken, the general tso's chicken, the flavor of the fried rice and the egg rolls all tasted great. The sides...
Read moreI don't know how this place has such good reviews.
They need to update their delivery status. I called the store to order for delivery, but they don't have a driver, so I had to order through DoorDash.
I got their pepper chicken with fried rice, egg roll, fried wantons, wanton egg drop soup with crispy noodles (which I had to pay extra for, and they aren't even made in the restaurant, they're bagged and hard, not crunchy and flakey), and white sauce.
This food is like, half salt/MSG. Except for the fried wantons, they're completely bland and chewy, the worst I've ever had.
Fried rice is decent, still salty. I love the bean sprouts. No vegetables, which I like, and good, savory flavor. Egg roll is also good, crunchy, light and flakey, filling has a tiny bit of spice, very good.
The pepper chicken is more salty than peppery. The soup is literal salt water.
Guys, I like salty food, this is way too much. Salt =/= flavor.
Finally, the white sauce is so tangy, too tangy. Almost like that old jar of mayo in the door of your fridge.
I honestly cannot finish this food. I almost never dislike my staple Chinese foods SO much that I don't just eat it anyway.
Still looking for my regular Chinese place. This is NOT it. Will...
