Read moreEdit-Dec 2024 I am lowering the star down to 1. I'd give zero if possible. We needed repairs done and paid a decent chunk of $ for the warrenty. Customer service and repair department is absolutely HORRIBLE! Technician never showed up, part is supposedly on back order unil February/March, andddd nobody bothered to say anything. We kept getting told...You'll get the part in 2 weeks. Didn't happen, so we called again. Now it's 3 month wait for our couch to work. This is absolutely unacceptable. We will NEVER buy from Ashley again, EVER. I normally do not leave such low stars. I'll be following up with the manager in person as well. EDIT-Managent never bothered to call back to resolve any of these issues. The easiest thing we did was swipe our credit card. The sales representative was amazing and personable. 4 days later we just figured out they sent us the wrong color. Thank God it all matches. The issues we had were with customer contact. My husband works super remote locations. He asked that my number be primary because of this. He got in trouble for the 14 missed phone calls to inform us that our furniture was at the warehouse. 5 calls to remind him of delivery. 1 call for directions. We also decided on the LUXURY of paying 400$ for professional delivery and set up. The guys who did this refused to use the power strips my husband bought for the electronics for the couch sets. They simply plugged into the walls leaving 3 cords running across our walkway as a tripping hazard. Had we known this was the policy we'd have done it ourselves. Professional set up isn't just plugging it in and calling it good. When I questioned the gentleman delivering it. The answer was pretty rude. Apparently the almost 6,800$ we spent wasn't enough. "Most people pay extra and get the battery packs." REALLY!! While I received empathy from the person I talked too. There was zero accountability. Zero solutions or offers to redo or compensate for the hassles. For this reason. We will never buy from Ashley's again. Pic is from our 400$ professional installation. 🙄 Ps. Read moreI recently spent over $5000 on a new bed frame and mattress. My sales rep was so sweet and polite however we were misinformed when buying the frame. I specifically asked if the frame we wanted needed a box spring or if it was a platform. I was told that if we upgraded to the bed with storage below for an extra $300 we wouldn’t need to buy a box spring. Well over 3 weeks later when the bed is delivered we do need a box spring. I immediately called after delivery and was told on the phone for a second time that my bed did not need a box spring because of the storage below. (this was the manager) After looking further he explained it actually did and I said was told I would need to spend $280 on a box spring. I explained that I shouldn’t have to spend that as I was told incorrectly by an employee. I asked if I could return the frame and get the bed we originally wanted for $300 less and then buy the box spring and were told absolutely not. The lowest they could offer the box spring to me was $117. I also asked if the pricing could be taken of the frame to offset the cost as I understand they may not be able to completely mark something to $0.
