Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Casa Grande

My family and I headed over to CG tonight to grab a quick meal since it was already later in the night and just wanted a quick bite to end the night.Although we weren’t looking for anything spectacular we decided to give Freddy’s a shot & we ended up very disappointed in the end.I had really high expectations for this place considering all the hype when this location had just opened & based off the prices I was expecting very high quality food in return.Prices are outrageous and the food was very very very I mean VERY salty.The only thing I tasted on my burger was the generous amount of salt and mustard,my hunny said the exact same thing.The portions were very foolish..Small burgers and the FRIES!? Looks as if the staff helped themselves to all of our fries upon arrival.For the crazy prices you’d think the very least they could do is fill up the small carton of fries??I had a love/hate thing with the fries..At first I wasn’t liking the flavor,very salty as well but towards the end kinda reminded me of the carnival fries as far as flavor..They were just OK,I didn’t like how the texture was like eating fries the next day “left over” fries warmed up in the microwave soggy texture.On a positive note, we did very much enjoy the strawberry something shake from the menu.10/10 for the shake only..OH & I had to run inside and grab some straws & bbq because they forgot to add that to our bag,wasn’t even acknowledged when I walked😀I think I will keep my business at Culver’s down the street.They never let me down & I never regret spending my money on their food😋 Great custard tho Freddy.Different opinion on the food itself and prices for what you get..I can’t see myself visiting a Freddy’s ever again.Probably wouldn’t recommend to friends or family for a quick meal either. 46$...

Went around 4pm, one of the drive thru lines were closed so the parking lot was a bit crrowded but the line moved decently and the drive thru order taker was kind and thorough.

The kids hot dog meal was great. The kids chicken tender meal was great, nice large size pieces of chicken. The kids cheeseburger (plain) meal was great and a decent size. The triple steakburger meal was great, the meat wasn't dry or underseasoned. The bun wasn't hard or to soft and mushy so it made the burger even better. The veggie burger meal was okay...the patty was dry and not satisfying. The grilled chicken club was great, the chicken had all the flavor and the toppings weren't overwhelming.

The soda (Sprite and Pepsi) were ok...to be expected. The fries need to be a bit more crispy and salted and they'd be perfect but they were soft and chewy with no flavor.

The turtle concrete could've been better, it was already melted when served but they've been very busy so maybe next time the custard will be thick and creamy.

Spent $73 and I'd say it...

I came to casa grande to visit some friends from california and they had recommended I try this place called Freddy’s. We had a great time and would definitely go back. One of the staff there really stood out to me because she was incredibly considerate when it came to accommodating my friends and I. Her name is Aily, she brought our custard over and made sure to bring extra spoons and napkins. She even noticed the booth needed to be wiped down more so she went ahead and cleaned it for us before sitting down. She was also patient with us even while changing our orders a couple of times because we noticed more options we wanted to try.
