We Love papa Johns, to food is fantastic. HOWEVER. Thats if you can even get food!! I do not find pleasure in writing this review. I honestly don’t. I just would hate for other to go through the same experience.
The last 3 times we ordered… (which was online because the phone just rings for a long time) its been cancelled. The first time they called me and said their oven was broke. Ok no problem thank you for letting me know.
Second time a few weeks later i ordered early for a scheduled delivery. I gave them 25 mins after scheduled delivery and then called, when they finally answered i was just asking for an update and the person told me it would be another 90 mins for delivery because staff for drivers, so i asked if the pizza was done and i would just pick it up and she said no, so i cancelled. Ok.
Third and final attempt another few weeks later i did an online order for pick up. I even arrived later than scheduled. When i arrived the dining room was sectioned off and a gentleman was on his laptop with headphones in. Once i got his attention he said ..”um our oven is broke” And i said “ok can i cancel my order then… i ordered online” He replied with… once he was done with his conference call and he thought the online ordering was off….I walked outside real quick just to lock my truck and came back in (like seconds) and he wasnt sitting there anymore. I stood there waiting for about 5 minutes and he walked back over to his laptop standing in front of it scrolling on his phone. Not even acknowledging me. Thankfully i had my email notifications on and My email dinged and it said my order had been successfully cancelled so i just left. Super...
Read moreWife ordered food online. I stopped in to pick it up. When I asked to check the order. I was told it looks like it’s all there. I said I’m missing the wings. The employee snatched the wings off of the warmer. Then turned around rudely and seemed very annoyed that I was going through the order, but I noticed I was missing my sauce. She reopened my box and proceeded to count the sauces saying they were all there even though they were not. I double checked the screen shot my wife sent me she had ordered two extra sauces, and extra peppers. Mind you I’ve been scolded several times for not making sure the order was correct. This did not seem correct so I questioned it and when I questioned it, I was given a very rude look so I said just please give me the damn sauces mind you I shouldn’t have said damn. However, I was very frustrated with the rude service I was already receiving. The gal, went to the back and came back with a plain close individual. She opened my boxes and went through my order and said it looks like all of your sauces are there to which I replied, whatever, closed everything up. While buttoning everything up I was told If I had an attitude I would be banned from her store. I decided to just walk out and when she proceeded to tell me that I would be banned from the store again. I then backed out of the store and said a few choice words. Because I was rightfully frustrated with the horrible customer service I received there. It was over a 60 some dollar order with tips and it was ridiculous being treated that way. Read moreI was treated horribly by the manager of this store! After waiting 2 hours for a delivery, I called the store and spoke to the manager, Jimmy Emerson. He said they were unexpectedly busy but offered no apology for the delay. I agreed to be patient and wait longer, but I reminded him that it had already been 2 hours and I was just trying to feed my very hungry little children. He then ended the call abruptly by saying, “Have a good night, Jerk” and hung up on me!
The pizza did not arrive for another 90 minutes (total time was 3.5 hours!!). The driver apologized and said there would be no charge, however the original bill of $30.29 was STILL actually charged to my credit card.
I submitted a more detailed accounting of this experience to the Papa John’s customer care team (using the Feedback Form), but I never heard back. Good luck if you ever order from this store – hopefully you do not need to speak to the manager. Jimmy Emerson is an unprofessional, offensive, shifty, and dishonest manager.
