Yeah the coffee is good but the double-drive though really isn't working at all, due to the badly-designed car merge in the middle, at least on busy days which seems to be most days. Long waits and cars are getting their drinks out of order (car behind in line gets their drink first, etc.) People at the merge either can't figure out what to do or are not let in (saw that happen last night). Two suggested fixes here (I will email to their CS too). First, keep the 2 lines totally separate, like Whataburger and ChaCho's do, with no merging craziness. You already have an employee/broista bringing the coffee out to the line half the time rather than through the window. People in the other line are not blocked on getting out that way once that car gets the coffee with two separate lines. The other solution is to keep the car merge, but automate it much better, and design the physical merge much better - like McDonalds. Never once had a problem with the car merge at McD's, although at the window they do get mixed up some times on which order. A car merge design assumes it will take much longer at the sign ordering than filling the order. Not the case at Dutch Brothers. In fact, opposite is probably true, the blended drinks (same with SBUX) take much longer to prepare than it takes to order them. No car merge! Use two lines. So i asked for the aquaberry and the girl at the window started rattling off ways the aquaberry could be without breathing so i wasn't sure which way i wanted so i went to the app to look at ways that might be good. Oh let me say i was the only person in the line as well. She yelled back with a rude tone she thinking with a awful look. Man i wish i would have gotten her name, she was rude.
