Want to lose connection with family members for working 50+hrs a week? Want to ruin your education because youâre threatened to get fired to change your availability? Look no further! Working for this company taught me that I was no more than someone elseâs paycheck and nothing else. I was lucky enough to get a respecting, better paying job that pays you what youâre worth, but after 2 years of enslaving myself here, I scarified sleep, relationships, and especially my education to make these people happy. The moment I ask to change my availability, Iâm threatened to get replaced in my position because itâs ânot honorableâ. Oh and the supervisors? When you tell them your problems, you get the usual âOkay, let me get back to it and let you know what happensâ, and you get a month long wait just to be told âYeah I was going to talk to you about this when I last saw youâ. But what about the beautiful sweet ladies at the office? Oh theyâre the exact opposite of what I just mentioned. When you approached, my greeting was ALWAYS in the nature of, âWhat do you want? What do you need? Etcâ if I was lucky Iâd get a âHow can I help you?â In a very uninterested tone. At first I didnât take it personal, but then I realized âIs this really who Iâm working for?â. Oh! And they can keep a manager that is noticeably on drugs for YEARS, but theyâll fire an employee for calling in due to medical reasons (with a doctors note). I wish to see improvements in this company, and maybe, JUST maybe if I ever decide to work for McDonaldâs again, I will. But for the...
Read moreWoman up front rude as can be for no reason, i came in to get my uniform and unlike other reviews i didnt get an option to "go home and shave" they told me to full on reschedule... ive been out of a job and cant afford a razor to full shave right now and all i had was a stubble compared to what i had before coming in. And i was told by the manager who hired me since I didn't own a razor to use a trimmer to get it as much as i could. I've already gone against my religion to make sure i can get the job. But now I'm going to report them for religious discrimination. This is ridiculous. Edit: they are willing to violate the TWC, AND EEOC, and lie about it. Called them 05/28/24 11:00 after finding out they never informed my gm about religious exemption. Which i had been over the office with before when i went to grab my uniforms. Edit of the edit: the first person who answered my call lied saying the director of operations was in today. Whoever that person was they need to never answer the phone again or at least double check before they spread false information. Before they get the company into serious legal trouble. Causing so much unnecessary stress,...
Read moreI booked a birthday party for my 5 year old at the McDonaldâs at 281 & Thousand Oaks. The office that booked it was very professional and prompt in response to book it. After I paid the deposit, we never heard anything, so we went by the actual restaurant to confirm. I spoke to the store manager, Marsella. I said we booked a birthday party & havenât heard anything to confirm. She asked if it was for Kaylie? I was impressed and relieved she knew our info off the top of her head. She was phenomenal to work with and made the party stress free. The day of the party, everything was prepared and ready for us. She greeted and discussed our expectations and wantâs before any guests arrived. The party went great - the play place was clean, the food was fresh and her crew did a fantastic job. While other childrenâs partyâs were several hundred dollars and disorganized, our experience at this McDonaldâs was far better for a fraction of the cost. I hope that corporate will recognize what an asset they have with this young lady and her store. Thank you for helping to make our 5 year olds...
