Las Palapas - Castle Hills — Restaurant in Castle Hills

This location needs improvement in management! I frequently visit this location and have noticed i dont like it every time i go. A few of the serving staff are amazing but management is terrible. The service i received from management was beyond disappointing and annoying today. I ordered 3 tacos! They made them wrong... so i called and the manager Adrianna at the time told me she would fix them the next time we went. When we arrived the next time with the receipt the manager John who was currently working said she didn't remember any interactions like that when he asked her. Well if you all the managers can't remember the interactions yall have like miss Adrianna did... maybe you all should write down the customers name, complaint, and order yall said yall would fix somewhere you all can look back on so things can actually get fixed. John the manager said "He can't just be giving away free tacos" but he could give me 2 of the 3 we ordered. UNACCEPTABLE! He didn't need to say that! It's embarrassing and so unprofessional to say that comment about the free tacos when they messed up my order to begin with and now can only fix 2 of the 3 tacos without a rude comment. 🎃 So today I spent the day with my 🧑‍🦳lovely aunt and we decided to eat at 🌴Las palapas-castle hills. I ordered the Norteño taco which came with your choice of meat. I choose beef fajita, Monterey jack cheese a huge slice of avacado and the tortilla is toasted. I also tried out the Sopes, I had 🤔never tried sopes before but if you haven't either think of them as an open gordita. I ordered a chicken Al carbon with celantro beans avacado lettuce tomatoes and queso fresco it was delicious and the other two were traditional, with beans avacado lettuce tomatoes and queso fresco. Equally as good. The environment was nice and clean, they have many windows that provide a good view while you eat or have a drink. We didn't wait long at all for all this delicious food to reach our table. Our waiter was very attentive as well. All in all a very good experience!! I’ll start off by saying the food is always good. It’s not spectacular, but it’s very solid and always taste good. But unless you get their Monday or Wednesday specials, it’s just so overpriced. I can go in a half mile radius from this location and find at least 10 other Mexican restaurants that are just as good if not better, but are at about half the price ofLas Palapas. It’s insane when you get two single tacos, and a half order of nachos, and you pay $25. It’s just not worth the price. I mean look I understand it’s more of a fast food type of place and has a drive-through, but it’s just insane how expensive it is for what you get. It’s much better than taco cabana as far as the food quality goes, but again, I can go to Santos Café, or La Victoria, and spend Half the amount, and get more food that is actually better.
