Catty Cafe — Restaurant in Catasauqua

i went in this morning after having been meaning to, for quite some time. after my first visit, i can say that waiting was a Gigantic mistake. i grew up with a mom who loved syrian and middle eastern food. she would drive from easton to 2 nd st in allentown in the early 80's to get pita and falafel. it made me super appreciative of this culture as its different from our background, and fall in love with the food. i basically ordered the menu today, lol. i got a breakfast sandwich, and also some hummus, pita, grape leaves, and cheese baklava (i never knew it existed, but i have always needed this in my life). her food is a masterwork for classic home made cuisine. absolutely everything was perfect. her...HANDROLLED...grape leaves were spot on. the pita was fresh and glorious. the hummus, creamy and light, and lovely. dont get me started on the sausage/egg/cheese on a muffin made fresh while i waited. ive been on diet...thankfulky this type of food is super healthy for you.. cause im still gonna gain weight. go. if you don't...you only have...

Every single item at Catty Cafe is made with so much love!! The chicken shawarma is out of this world, the fries and pickles inside of it blew my mind the first time I tried it. The cheese baklava is phenomenal!! I don’t think I can go back to traditional baklava ever again. And when you walk in there’s a display of some of the most amazing spreads, salads, and desserts you’ll ever try. I love the feta pie and red pepper spread especially. And both the apricot and coconut desserts are mouth watering. The breakfast is amazing too. It’s hard to find turkey bacon at most breakfast places in the Lehigh Valley so that was a huge plus for me. And everything is so affordable! I just can’t say enough good things about this place!! Chadia is such a lovely and kind woman. Thanks for making Catasauqua a way better place...

Very nice staff super clean place. Food was very good. Hopefully in the future, they will expand their menu, it was more basic, as they move on and get more help.? Everything is made from scratch. Only part we did not like is the people hanging outside, loitering and smoking I guess it’s the location? There are several Mediterranean restaurants around the valley, some excellent some not too good it was definitely the better. A little out of our way, but I’m glad we tried it. I wish...
